You can recruit Starky after the events of Fort Dragonia and returning to Home World as Lynx.

When you’re exploring Viper Manor in Home World, you’ll receive two clues from one of the guards stationed near the entrance, directing you to El Nido Triangle and Sky Dragon Isle.

    Obtain the Star Fragment: Borrow the boat from Norris at Home World’s Viper Manor. Sail south from the “main island” and enter El Nido Triangle (Home World), a part of the sea surrounded by three rocks in a triangular pattern. Navigate to the center where the glowing light is, then dive into the water. Follow the underwater path and in the second underwater screen, search a conspicuous cave near the middle to find the Star Fragment.

    Defeat MegaStarky: Depart El Nido Triangle and head for Sky Dragon Isle (Home World), located to the west. Go up one screen and inspect the treasure chest in the center. If you have the Star Fragment, a monster named MegaStarky will appear and battle you.

    Persuade Starky to Join: After defeating MegaStarky, he will shrink and run around. Chase after him and grab him with the action button when you’re close. Your party will then persuade Starky to join.
Tips
  • MegaStarky is weak to White Elements, so avoid using Lynx or Harle if they are in your party.
  • Pack plenty of healing Elements like Heal All. Be mindful that Recover All turns the Field Element White, which benefits MegaStarky.
  • MegaStarky can cast White Element spells like Meteorite, Meteor Shower, and Photon Beam. His unique Tech, Raydiation, can inflict Anti-White, preventing the use of Recover All and Revive.
  • When MegaStarky is weak, he can cast UltraNova. If you have an UltraNova trap, set it up before he reaches critical health to obtain the Element.
  • Consider using Diminish (buy from Guldove in Home World) to halve damage from Elements if you are taking heavy damage. Rely on standard attacks in this case.
