1. Rainbow Shell 1: Termina Salesman

   In Termina, speak to the Viper Churros salesman. Tell him the price is too expensive and suggest 50-60 G. After the Tower of Geddon, return to him for a free Viper Churros containing a Rainbow Shell.

2. Rainbow Shell 2: Arni Waitress

   In Home World's Arni Village, speak to the waitress about poetry. Then, travel to Another World's Arni Village and speak to the same waitress. Return to the Home World waitress to receive the Book of Poems. Show this book to the Another World waitress to get the Rainbow Shell.

3. Rainbow Shell 3: Water Dragon Isle Explorer

   In Another World's Water Dragon Isle, obtain the Sturdy Ribs from an explorer before finishing Fort Dragonia. Later, after Fort Dragonia (Home World), return to the same explorer. He will give you a Rainbow Shell for relieving his nightmares.

4. Rainbow Shell 4: S.S. Zelbess Compass Roulette

   Play the Compass Roulette mini-game in the S.S. Zelbess casino. You need to achieve a score of 10,000 points to win a Rainbow Shell as the top prize.

5. Rainbow Shell 5: Isle of the Damned Wight Knight

   On the Isle of the Damned (Home World), lure a Wisp O'Wisp to a suit of armor near Garai's grave. The resulting explosion awakens the Wight Knight. Save your game before fighting it. It has a rare chance to drop a Rainbow Shell. Using Sprigg or a Forget-me-not Pot can help register it in your monster list.

6. Rainbow Shell 6: Arni Village Cart (Another World)

   After the body swap, return to Arni Village in Another World. The Element Shop vendor's cart will be empty. You can take a Rainbow Shell from it.

7. Rainbow Shell 7: Viper Manor Basement Armory

   After escaping Viper Manor with Norris, return to the manor. In the basement armory, solve the shield puzzle and push a snake statue into place. A secret passage will open. Before entering, find and push a hidden switch on a pillar in the top-left corner to disable a trap. The passage contains chests with a Rainbow Shell.

8. Rainbow Shell 8: Earth Dragon Isle Quicksand

   On Earth Dragon Isle (Home World), enter the quicksand pit. Follow the sand streams to the bottom, then find a hole to be propelled back up. Exit and re-enter the area. Speak to the man near where you emerge; he will eventually give you a Rainbow Shell after clearing a monster.

9. Rainbow Shell 9: Earth Dragon Isle Criosphinx

   Activate the sand boil on Earth Dragon Isle. In the second-to-last area, you can steal a Rainbow Shell from the Criosphinx. This requires being fully prepared for the fight.
