Master the Dreamer's Mazes in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom! Learn about Danger Levels, pink orbs, and get the full list of mazes, bosses, and rewards.

Alright, so you've just finished up with Auntie Martha's Scrubber (that's Sidequest 001). As you're about to head out, a mysterious woman is going to stop you. She's going to introduce you to something called Dreamer's Doors and Mazes. Your job here is to go through nine of these mazes and grab a 'dream fragment' from each one. The very first one is right here in Grotty Grotto.

These mazes are basically dungeons with layouts that change every time you go in. They all have a set number of floors, and you'll face a boss at the end of each one. For Grotty Grotto, it's three floors and a boss called the Mossy Monument.

The main thing to keep an eye on in these mazes is the 'Danger Level' meter in the top right corner. As this meter goes up, the monsters inside the maze get tougher. You can find pink orbs scattered around, and if you use them at special statues, you can actually lower the Danger Level by one. These pink orbs are also used to open up those fancy blue chests you'll find. Sometimes, you'll even run into NPCs inside the mazes who can help you out – maybe they'll lower the Danger Level, sell you some items, or just give you stuff.

When to Tackle These Mazes:

You can technically do these sidequests as you play through the main story, but honestly, it's way better to wait until you're further along. The Danger Level ramps up pretty fast on its own, and without a map, you can get into some real trouble quickly. Plus, you might find yourself rushing through without being able to explore properly. It's also worth waiting because Evermore has some really useful facilities for these mazes. The Dimensional Labs, once you've done some research, can help lower how fast the Danger Level increases, give you more pink orbs, and even provide sensors to help you find the next door. So, yeah, patience is a virtue here!

Your main goal in any Dreamer's Maze is to reach the guardian at the end and defeat them to get that dream fragment.

The Big Payoff:

It's really recommended to save most of these mazes for after you've finished the main game. By then, you should have all the research done for the Dimensional Labs, which makes things SO much easier. Once you've cleared all nine mazes, you'll need to find Mileniyah. She hangs out in the library in Goldpaw. Chat with her to wrap up this sidequest, recruit her to your kingdom, and she'll even give you the key to unlock the final Dreamer's Maze over on Faraway Isle. Good luck!
