Complete the Nemesis quest in ni no kuni 2 revenant kingdom. Includes walkthrough for Nogo Plateau, King Mausinger, and Oakenhart boss fights.
Walkthrough
- 1Head northeast of Ding Dong Dell to Nogo Plateau. A Tainted Monster, Grimbaba (level 54 grimchilla), is southeast of Hermit’s Hollow. Defeating it yields a Steelpounder.
- 2Look southeast from your current position for a bridge. North of this bridge, along the southern edge of Nogo Plateau, find a chest containing Cozy Curry.
- 3Continue east, then southeast to a large ledge. At the end of this ledge is a chest with Sage’s Secret.
- 4Fly to the Crypt of the Cat Kings. Head south to Tumbledown Shrine. Inside, a chest guarded by a Windwyrm contains an Elite Warrior’s Ring.
- 5Also inside Tumbledown Shrine is a level 58 Boarzerker Tainted Monster. Defeating it rewards Super-Safe Warlord’s Armor and it guards a higgledy stone.
- 6The higgledy stone requires a Clear Prism. Giving it will cause Tilly-Loo the Twinkly to join you.
- 7Outside, fly down to the area below and look behind the Western Woods for a chest containing Savior’s Tear.
- 8Head to the southern end of this area and find another chest by a pillar containing Steak Dinner.
- 9Enter Western Woods. At the end of a side path, find a chest with 5 Wonder Wheats.
- 10Exit Western Woods to the world map. Head south and find a chest on a protruding ledge containing Bright Lodestone Laser.
- 11Southwest of the previous chest, on higher ground, is a level 35 Grimwit Tainted Monster. Defeating it yields an Elite Warrior’s Ring.
- 12Head all the way south, hugging the western mountains, to find a chest in the southwest corner containing Songbook No. 5.
- 13To the east is another chest, but it is guarded by a level 70 Windwyrm. You can use the zippelin to bypass it. The chest contains a Harpist’s Costume.
- 14Teleport to Ding Dong Dell and approach the castle for a scene.
- 15Head to the throne room and approach Mausinger to begin the boss battle.
- 16After defeating King Mausinger and the subsequent scene, you will face Oakenhart.
Tips
- Grimbaba’s only attack is a jumping strike, usually preceded by two hammer raises.
- The Boarzerker hits very hard, so be prepared for a difficult fight.
- When exploring, you will encounter high-level Windwyrms.
- King Mausinger teleports frequently and uses sword attacks. His attacks produce fire, increasing their hitbox.
- King Mausinger’s 360-degree sword swipe can be blocked or dodged.
- His combo attack involves two side-to-side swings, sometimes followed by a lunge jab.
- When Mausinger teleports to his throne and erects a barrier (around 35-40% health), he shoots fireballs in horizontal lines, then from the sky. Dodge these by moving to the gaps or staying back.
- Destroying Mausinger’s barrier stuns him for a few seconds, allowing for significant damage.
- Mausinger may also conjure fireballs above his head that can be avoided by running.
- Oakenhart spawns flower pods that shoot poisonous pollen. Destroy these, preferably from afar.
- Oakenhart uses his tail as a flail and slams the ground, creating vines that home in on you.
- The higgledy-pigs that spawn during the Oakenhart fight can create a wind barrier that pushes you away.
