Walkthrough
  1. 1
Upon reaching the top of the area, open the chest to the north for a Great Sage’s Secret.
  2. 2
Go south for a short scene, then descend the long flight of stairs for another scene.
  3. 3
Explore the area, noting the central structure with a large crystal. On its southern side is a chest containing an One-and-All-Be-Gone.
  4. 4
West of this chest is a waystone, and to the east is a Trip Door labeled (Lost City).
  5. 5
Inspect the large gate to the south, which has four objective markers and four ominous barriers.
  6. 6
Head west past the waystone, then south up the stairs. At the top, next to a short wall, is a chest with a Superior Sixth Censer.
  7. 7
Jump across the broken wall gap to the roof with the golden dome to find another chest containing a Charm-Charger.
  8. 8
Return to the waystone and look north of the stairs you ascended. Follow the ledge west around the corner to find a chest with a Savior’s Tear.
  9. 9
Back at the central structure, head east. In the northern alleyway on this end, you'll find a chest with a Dark Maelstrominator.
  10. 10
In the southern alleyway on the east end, follow the path east to find another chest containing 3 Woebegone Cottons.
  11. 11
Drop down from the previous chest and head north. Look east for a blue chest containing a Gloomy Spiteful Staff.
  12. 12
Go up the stairs to the west, then look north for a hidden chest in an alcove past the archways containing 3 Spritefire Silks.
  13. 13
Tackle the four mini-bosses guarding the gate. They can be fought in any order.
  14. 14
After each mini-boss fight, use the central waystone to heal your party.
  15. 15
The first mini-boss is in the northwestern corner.
  16. 16
The second mini-boss is in the southwestern corner.
  17. 17
The third mini-boss is in the southeast corner.
  18. 18
The fourth mini-boss is in the northeast corner.
  19. 19
After defeating all four mini-bosses, the gate will open, triggering some scenes.
  20. 20
You will regain control with a Trip Door in front of you.
