009 Gao Jia, the Sullen Soldier

Learn how to recruit Gao Jia, the Sullen Soldier, in Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. This guide covers making the Om-Nom-Nomelet and finding him in Goldpaw.

Alright, so you've just finished up Boddly's second trial in Chapter 4, and it's time to get your army beefed up for those skirmishes. First up on your recruitment list is Gao Jia, the Sullen Soldier. You'll find him hanging out in the casino over in Goldpaw.

Gao Jia's got a pretty straightforward task for you: whip up an Om-Nom-Nomelet. He'll hand you a copy of 'Fabulous Fairy-Tale Fare,' which has the recipe. To get this done, you'll need to build Tasty's Cookshop in Evermore and then assign Floyd to work there. Once Floyd's on the job, chat with him so he can learn the recipe. After that, you'll be able to cook it up yourself.

The ingredients you'll need are one Mellowfat Peas, an Arrowhead Carrot, and two Good Eggs. Don't worry if you don't have them already; you can snag all of them from the general store right in Evermore. Once you've successfully made the Nomelet, just bring it back to Gao Jia, and you'll have completed his sidequest!
