Your next objective is to head to the library in Goldpaw to learn about the Sword of Union. When you speak with Boddly, he'll tell you that books from that era are gone, but a stone tablet exists. Head over to the alcove with Boddly to check out the strange stone, but he can't make out the writing on it. Boddly thinks Li Li might be able to help, so let's travel back to Evermore and chat with her. She can decrypt the tablet, but she needs some seeing sand from the Drylands first.
Li Li will mark three spots on your map where you can find the seeing sand. There's no item marker, so just wander around at each spot until you get an exclamation point. The seeing sand will always be at the last location you search, meaning you'll have to check all three. Once you've got the sand, bring it back to Li Li in Evermore. Then, just wait around while she deciphers the tablet. It doesn't take too long – there's a short scene – and you'll discover the location of the Mornstar sword: Coldera, in Jack Frost's Playground.
