Walkthrough

    Take control of Evan in Evermore and go to the bottom portion of town to find the front gate.

    Walk through the front gate to return to the world map.

    Teleport to Auntie Martha’s Cottage and speak with her.

    She will agree to join your kingdom if you retrieve her stolen rub-a-dub scrubber from Grotty Grotto. This starts the sidequest.

    To find Grotty Grotto, exit Martha’s house, cross the bridge to the northeast, and then go directly east.

    Inside Grotty Grotto, defeat the whamsters in the first room (around level 20).

    After the battle, you will receive the scrubber. A mystery woman will appear and give you a Dreamer's Key.

    Return to Auntie Martha and give her the scrubber to complete the sidequest.

    Return to Evermore and assign Auntie Martha to the Higglery.
Tips
  • Sidequests are important for rewards and recruiting new citizens. You can track them in your menu under Quests, then the Sidequests tab. Set this quest as active to get an objective marker.
  • Grotty Grotto is a Dreamer’s Maze with three floors. The enemies are around your current level, and the boss is the Mossy Monument, which you have fought before.
  • In Dreamer's Mazes, the Danger Level steadily increases just by being present. When it reaches a new level, monster levels increase.
  • Defeating monsters and breaking pots yields pink spheres called key orbs.
  • You can offer key orbs to statues to lower the Danger Level, resetting it to 0% at the previous level. Each use requires more orbs.
  • Special NPCs may appear in the maze offering services like giving orbs, lowering the Danger Level, or providing items for a price.
  • To progress in a Dreamer's Maze, find the floor's door and interact with it to choose to continue or leave.
  • Red chests are normal. Blue chests can be opened by offering key orbs, providing items or equipment.
  • Completing Grotty Grotto Maze rewards you with a Red Dream Fragment.
