Alright, so you've met Callianeira, the Priestess of Water, and she needs your help with a dragon named Volko. Apparently, this dragon used to hang out in Hydropolis but got chased off by Brineskimmer. Now, Callianeira wants to convince Volko to join the cause for uniting the world, but he's gone off to the Drylands with his minions. Your job is to head over there, find him, and convince him to join up.

Walkthrough

    Head to the Drylands. You'll find Callianeira and Volko chatting near a crack in the earth way up north.

    Volko agrees to join, but only if you can prove your worth by beating his army. A skirmish flag will pop up nearby, so get ready for a fight. This battle is recommended for level 19.

    Important: Callianeira will join you in this battle. You absolutely must keep her unit alive! If her unit is defeated, you'll fail the quest, so keep an eye on her health.

    When the battle starts, you'll see some enemy units to your southwest, mostly Whamsters with an Incineraptor mixed in. Your main target here should be the Incineraptor because it can dish out some serious damage.

    Once you've cleared out those initial enemies and their camp, more Whamsters will spawn on the western side of the rift. This wave includes ranged units and some Hammers. Focus on taking out the main unit first.

    After that, Volko himself will show up. He'll be alone at first. Go all out and defeat him quickly to finish this quest.

    Reward: Upon completion, you'll earn 10430 EXP, 3890 Gold, a Windy Gemfire Wand, and Callianeira will become a citizen in your kingdom.
Tips
  • The Incineraptor is the biggest threat early on. It likes to fly up and roar, then drop flaming rocks that explode. Try to take it down fast.
  • Don't get too caught up with the siege towers if you're around the recommended level; they might not be a major concern for you.
  • Remember, Callianeira's survival is key. If she's in trouble, divert your attention to protecting her unit.
