Head back to the throne room in Evermore and speak with Leander. Select 'yes' to proceed, as you will not be able to play freely for a while.

You will gain control of Roland. Head upstairs to the throne room and speak with Mausinger.

Mausinger will ask you to perform a test in the dungeons. Open your map to find the Dungeons, located south of the Entrance Hall, then east. Pass a room with a waystone to confirm you are on the right path.

Go to the cell ahead for a scene where Roland shows his loyalty.

Mausinger will task you with retrieving the Mark of Kings, and Chancellor Vermine will ask you to deliver a message to Captain Buck.

First, find Captain Buck in a large room north of the Dungeons entrance. Speak with him to deliver the message and more.

Run up the stairs and interact with the door at the top for more scenes.

Regain control and interact with the statue pointed out in the previous cutscene (a non-interactive cinematic the game plays automatically) to uncover a secret passage.

Follow the passage to a small room and open the chest to find a Starfall Sword and the Mark of Kings.

After the subsequent scenes, you will need to escape the castle.

You will regain control on the western side of the castle, with your destination set to the Dungeons again.

Head east to find guards. Concentrate on the mages first, then the melee enemies. Remember you are alone and must be mindful of your health.

After defeating the guards, head south into the Entrance Hall to find more enemies.

The hallway before the Dungeons will have more guards; defeat them and head down the stairs.

Approach the cell for scenes that conclude this chapter.
