A Battlefield Revisited

Follow this guide to complete the A Battlefield Revisited quest in Resonance of Fate. Learn how to place hexes, navigate Level 6, and find your way to Lucia.

Alright, let's tackle this mission for Theresa! It's called "A Battlefield Revisited," and it's a bit of a trek. You'll be heading from Level 3 all the way to Lucia on Level 6.

First things first, we need to open up a path. Head to the orange/tan colored hex near the Core Lift on Level 4. Activate your hex placement mode. You'll want to scroll to that colored hex and place it on your map. This is going to open up the route to the Hughes Power Station. Remember, you place one end on the colored hex, and the rest of the hex will fill in the grey area. After this, you'll get access to the Elevator to Level 6, but you'll need to place one more Energy Hex to fully activate it. Once that's done, hop on the elevator and enjoy the scene on the way down. Heads up: When you start fighting inside Lucia, don't mash the buttons too fast! You might miss some special mission-only dialogue.

Once you land on Level 6, you'll find the whole area is blocked off. Your goal here is to place Energy Hexes to create a path to Lucia. You'll come across Forsaken, which is a small, abandoned village with a shop. You can set up an Energy Station on a nearby Thoroughfare if you want to save and rest up before heading into Lucia, but there's also a save point right inside the area, so it's not strictly necessary.

To actually get into Lucia, you'll need to place two of those colored Energy Hexes. This will open up the four hexes that make up Lucia itself. If you happen to have enough plain Energy Hexes lying around, you can find a Bezel Shard on this level. To get it, go from the Elevator to Level 4, then head left towards the single purple hex. Stick to the south edge of the level, and the shard will be in the fourth hex to the left of that purple Terminal.
