Guide to R E D H E X E S (4) in Resonance of Fate, including Level 5's Rocketfoot and Level 6's Bronze Ooze and Dolled-Up Dwellest.
Location: Level 5 (In between the two Terminals at the north of the Forest)
Enemies: Leader - Rocketfoot Lv 29, Shady Thug Lv 15 x2
This is your first encounter with the Rocketfoot enemy, which resembles an elephant and has no weaknesses. They drop Quality Meat among other items. You begin facing a bunker, with the leader on the far side. Two thugs are positioned to your right and left. It is recommended to defeat at least one thug with two hero runs and a tri-attack, as they can inflict significant damage with their guns. The Rocketfoot's gun attack deals approximately 450-500 damage, requiring healing. Stay behind the bunker during your runs to potentially evade the leader's attacks. Leaving one thug alive can reduce attacks from the Rocketfoot and can be used to add bezels if needed. The Rocketfoot drops the Scrapped Bazooka E, which is valuable for early gun customization in the next chapter.
Location: Level 6: Back Alley (near Patertopolis)
Enemies: Bronze Ooze Lv 12 x6
This encounter is straightforward, though a single ooze can inflict around 200 HP of scratch damage if it hits you. Initiate a tri-attack with the MG user. When you have 2 Resonance Points, move around and defeat them one by one. Some oozes may require breaking gauges with the HG before their main body can be scratched, but they do not have body parts.
Location: Level 6 (near Lucia)
Enemies: Leader - Dolled-Up Dwellest Lv 48, Dwellest Lv 12 x2
These dwellests use molotov cocktails to set you alight. If they get close, they perform a jump and crash attack that deals substantial damage. The sidekicks are the same enemies encountered in the Hughes Power Station and are not the primary threat. The leader is very strong, possessing high HP and gauges that need to be broken. Use your best grenades (found on the world map) with one HG and execute a tri-attack as soon as possible, targeting the leader. This may defeat the other two dwellests due to the area of effect from the grenades. Electric grenades can slow the leader, while Molotov Cocktails can set him on fire. Continuously scratching him is beneficial as he heals scratch damage quickly. With careful use of grenades and strategic movement to outmaneuver him and anticipate his attacks, you can defeat him with a team around Level 11 without giving him an opportunity to attack.
- For the Level 5 encounter, prioritize eliminating the Shady Thugs first to mitigate incoming damage.
- Utilize the bunker in Level 5 for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) against the Rocketfoot's attacks.
- In Level 6's Back Alley, focus on isolating and defeating the Bronze Oozes one by one.
- For the Level 6 Dolled-Up Dwellest encounter, use electric grenades to slow the leader and molotovs to apply burning status.
- Always be mindful of enemy positioning and attack patterns to avoid damage.
