Detailed walkthrough for Resonance of Fate's C Block, covering all rooms, enemy encounters, and strategies for defeating Chunky Gangsters, Heat Yetis, Missile Gears, and the Junker Behemoth.
This section covers the C Block challenges in Resonance of Fate, detailing strategies for each room.
C Block - Room 1
Enemies: Chunky Gangster Lv 38 x5
Item: Silver Box (ANTI-HEAT x10)
The area features a wide wall with ramps on either side leading down to a flat area. Enemies are initially hidden behind this wall. To perform tri-attacks, you must be on the lower flat area. Be mindful of your bezel gauge. There are two gangsters on the far left and three on the right.
Strategy: Set up a triangle formation to the left to engage the pair first, then use tri-attacks to defeat the remaining three. Alternatively, wait out the first turn and move closer to the wall; the enemies will not advance. Some enemies may have gauges to break, making grenades or two Handgun (HG) users effective. (They drop straight turquoise hexes.)
L Block
Room 1 - Red
Enemies: Heat Yeti x 1 Lv 58
Strategy: Equip Heat protective accessories. This is a large, flat area with the Yeti inside an L-shaped box wall. Subzero rounds and Freezer grenades are highly effective. Run directly ahead, staying to the left of the box wall, and fire with an MG. The Yeti will likely freeze, allowing for a quick handgun burst to finish it.
Room 2 - Green
Enemies: Heat Yeti Lv 58 x1, Torch Gremlin Lv 19 x2
This room contains no items. You can fight another Yeti here if desired. It features a box wall and two ramps.
D Block
Room 1 - Red
Enemies: Missile Gear Lv 54 x1, Chunky Gangster Lv 38 x2
The room is large with two bunkers on the left and one on the right, along with some box platforms. Prioritize the gear and gangster on the right, then finish off the second gangster. Use Metal-Coated rounds on the Missile Gear.
Room 2 - Green
Enemies: Heat Yeti Lv 58 x2
Item: Gold Box (HEAT PROTECTOR x1)
The two Yetis are initially hidden behind a long wall of boxes. Ramps on either side lead down to a wide area suitable for tri-attacks. Use ice-based grenades and rounds to freeze one Yeti while dealing with the other, preventing attacks. This can be challenging at lower levels but follows the same principle. (They are likely to have gauges to break.)
R Block
Room 1
Enemies: Junk Mimic Lv 20 x2, Bazooka Dwellest Lv 44 x2
This room is flat with a wide wall across the middle. You can run past these enemies to reach the green exit on the left if not on a mission. However, if you are here for the mission, the door to the next room is sealed, preventing shortcuts. Start by attacking the closest Mimic with a Handgun to break its outer shielding; special rounds are not necessary for these enemies.
Room 2 - Green
Enemies: Leader - Junker Behemoth Lv 97 x1, Missile Gear Lv 54 x2
Item: Gold Box (HIGH-MOUNT ELITE x1)
Junker Behemoth - Boss
- Level: 97
- HP: 12225
- Type: Large Organism
- Drops: Vulcanized Hide, Scrapped Vulcan GG
This room contains the Junker Behemoth and two Missile Gears. Slopes are on either side of the wide wall, and the boss faces it directly. The Behemoth will fire missiles over the wall, causing significant damage to those at the front on its first turn. Recommended party: one MG user, two HG users (one of whom can use grenades). Two HGs are needed to stun the Behemoth consistently.
Strategy: Send your MG user on a long jump to one side, firing Metal-Coated (MC) rounds. Then, send your HG user to the other side to deal scratch damage and break the Behemoth's gauge, stunning it for the next turn. Ignore the smaller enemies. Alternatively, start with your best HG user to attempt a first-turn stun, followed by the MG.
Next, have your third party member cross the wall using a Handgun or grenades (Electro Grenades ++ or your best available). Avoid direct contact and jump to the side to evade its head. This should set up a tri-attack formation. The boss may attack first, scattering bezel shards; ignore this damage and do not attempt to collect them. Once on the flat ground for easy tri-attacks, target its back; it should remain stationary, facing the wall.
After breaking its body gauge and removing its parts, switch to Hollow Point ammo. You will receive [VULCANIZED HIDE]. Do not forget to open the gold box.
Return to Ebel City and report to Miranda for your reward. She will then offer new clothing for sale.
