Need help with the Blackout mission in Resonance of Fate? Follow this guide to navigate Hughes Power Station, defeat enemies, and restore power for boosted item drops.

Walkthrough
  1. 1
You'll start by needing to clear a path to the Hughes Power Station on Level 4. Once you're there, you'll find a line of bollards blocking your way.
  2. 2
Enter one of these hexes and prepare for a fight. You'll face three Fat Gangsters (Lv 8) and one Fat Gangster MG (Lv 7). You can clear all three bollards if you wish, but it's not strictly required to progress.
  3. 3
Strategy for the Bollard Enemies: The easiest way to handle these guys is to start with your Machine Gunner (MG), who should be in the middle. Use a hero run to get to one side of the group, aiming for the top-left corner and targeting the closest enemy to get a scratch.
  4. 4
Next, switch to your Hand Gunner (HG). Run to the opposite side of the group, creating two Resonance Points (RP). Use the HG to kill that first enemy.
  5. 5
Press Triangle to make a large triangle with 2 RP. Switch back to the MG and initiate your tri-attack. By the end of this combo, you should have defeated all the enemies in the hex.
  6. 6
After clearing the hexes, you'll need to use the turquoise straight hex provided to connect the Terminal to the second turquoise hex, which leads to the final part of the straight Energy Hex on the Power Station.
  7. 7
Activating this connection will restore power to the station. You can check the effect by pressing the Start button.
Tips
  • Connecting terminals to useful locations, like dungeons, is a great strategy for future missions. This connection specifically boosts the item drop rate inside the Hughes Power Station dungeon.
  • You can also link this terminal's hexes all the way to the Arena for potential benefits, but you'll need more straight turquoise hexes than you currently have available.
