    At the start of the chapter, you will receive [ENERGY HEX 1 Orange x4] and [ENERGY HEX 4 Pink x3].

    Vashyron is on his own for an extended story mission. It is advisable to complete this story mission first, then tackle other tasks with a full team.

Shopping:

  • A new gun, the NP.05C Machinegun, is available for purchase.
  • The Tinkerer's (an NPC) offerings are greatly improved, including EX grenades and rounds, and all gun parts available in the game.
  • The Tinkerer offers the best accessories for full protection against status effects. These suits require a Crystal Core and a Rare Metal Shard. It is recommended to craft one Germproof Suit, as you will obtain two more for free, which are essential for powerful bosses.

Customisation: Expert Class

  • Invest in the Expander Grip (one is also obtained during the story mission). This allows for an additional grip, enabling the attachment of more barrels.
  • Remove the Adapter Foregrip from a gun and replace it with the Expander Grip.
  • Attach either an Expander Twin S-Barrel or an Expander Super Barrel, depending on the number of upside down T slots on the barrels attached to the main barrel.
  • You may not be able to craft most new parts yet, as you haven't encountered the enemies that drop the necessary components. Consult the Scrap list for component sources.
  • With an Expander Sub-Barrel attached to a Multi-Barrel, you can slot in a couple of Long Expander Barrels.
  • Example customizations: LP-09 (CS: 119, CA: 31%) and NP.05C (CS: 173, CA: 25%).
