Boulder City

Boulder City Train Station: Head east/south-east from the 188 Trading Post. Find the train station north of the city. Defeat a Bark Scorpion, hack a Terminal [Average] to open a Safe [Hard]. Find a Duffle Bag with loot in a nearby elevated mining shack.

Big Horn Saloon: Follow train tracks east, then south to a road leading to Boulder City. Enter the first house east, climb stairs for skeletons, a Service Rifle, and a "Ranger Holodisk". Continue west to the Big Horn Saloon. Talk to Ike about Quarry Junction. Loot a Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap, a Refrigerator, Crates, Sunset Sarsaparilla Crates, and a Footlocker [Easy] behind the bed. Find a Lever-Action Shotgun and 20 Gauge Rounds on a crate.

Boulder City Showdown: Return east to an intersection, then south past a barricade to find Lieutenant Monroe. He presents a choice: sneak in to free hostages or negotiate with the Khans.

Killing the Great Khans: To kill the Khans, enter Boulder City Ruins, proceed south, then west through debris. Find two houses, go upstairs in either, and enter the back of a brick building. Pick a locked door [Very Easy] to find NCR captives. Free them or leave them. Kill the Great Khan inside, one upstairs, and three outside. Enter the Great Khan Hideout to the west. Kill Jessup and another Khan. Loot Jessup for "Chairman Job Offer" and an "Engraved Cigarette Lighter". Killing all Khans completes Boulder City Showdown (NCR Fame, Great Khan Infamy). Picking up the note completes They Went That-a-Way.

Negotiating with the Great Khans: Enter Boulder City Ruins, proceed south, then west past NCR Troopers. Enter the Great Khan Hideout. Ask Jessup about the Platinum Chip to learn Benny's name and that he went to the New Vegas Strip, completing They Went That-a-Way. Ask further questions for flavor. Discuss dealing with the NCR. You can bribe Lieutenant Monroe (500 Caps, or 400 with [Barter 45]), kill NCR Troopers, or use a [Speech 45] check to convince Jessup to free captives. Jessup gives you Benny's "Engraved Cigarette Lighter". Return to Monroe and either let him kill the Khans or honor the deal.
