Ring-a-Ding-Ding

Before confronting Benny, speak with Swank at the front of The Tops casino. Discuss other casinos, Mr. House, the Legion, and the NCR. You can also attempt to seduce 100 Caps from him with a [Black Widow] perk by asking for work.

Tattle on Benny to Swank. This can be done by succeeding at Speech checks ([Speech 15], [Speech 30], [Speech 45]) or by presenting three pieces of evidence: the Distinctive Cigarettes (Goodsprings Cemetery), the “Khan Hospitality” note (Manny Vargas in Novac or his motel room terminal), and the Engraved Lighter (from Jessup at Boulder City).

If successful, Swank will give you Benny’s Suite Key and encourage you to search his suite for incriminating information. This bypasses an [Average] lock.

Alternatively, if you state you need to deal with Benny immediately, Swank will offer to return your weapons, send Benny to his room, and keep the rest of the Chairmen out of the fight. This allows you to kill Benny without the rest of the Chairmen turning hostile.

To access Benny's Room, go west from the casino entrance, past the stairs to the cashier's cage and Aces Theater, and then past the gambling pit to find elevators. Take an elevator to the 13th Floor.

On the 13th Floor, use Benny’s Suite Key to open the double doors to the north ([Average] lock).

If Swank sent Benny to his room, he will be here and may try to convince you to talk in the Presidential Suite. If you refuse, you can kill Benny here and loot him for the Platinum Chip and his gun, Maria.

If you agree to go to the Presidential Suite, return to the Casino Floor and head west from the northern gambling pit. Benny will not be there but will taunt you over the intercom and send his goons to attack you unless you pass [Speech 35] and [Speech 50] checks. You can either kill the thugs and inform Benny his plan failed via intercom, or leave after talking him out of it.

If you sneak into Benny’s Room (or return after dealing with him), go through the north door, then the east door to find Yes Man, a reprogrammed Securitron. He will provide information about Benny, his plan, and the Platinum Chip.

After talking to Yes Man, you can return to Swank and inform him of your plans. Choosing the violent approach will result in Benny being sent to his room, leading to the scenario described in step 7. If you opt to talk, you can proceed with other quest options while keeping your weapons.

To confront Benny directly, bypass Swank or get his help, retrieve your weapons, search Benny's Room, talk to Yes Man, report back to Swank, and then confront Benny with your weapons and the neutrality of the Chairmen (except Benny's bodyguards).

Approach Benny. You can use [Black Widow] on him repeatedly to lure him to his room for a kill or to have sex with him, then kill him in his sleep. This yields the Platinum Chip and Maria. If you simply sleep afterwards, Benny will escape.

If you choose any other option (besides overtly hostile ones), Benny will invite you to the Presidential Suite. Accept the invitation.

In the Presidential Suite, you can pass a [Barter 35] check to get Benny to pay you for your trouble (500 XP, 250 The Tops Chips).

Alternatively, succeed at a [Speech 60] check to get Benny to come to the Presidential Suite without his bodyguards. If you fail to convince him, you will have to fight his thugs (150 XP). If you convince him not to send thugs, you get 200 XP.
