Leave the 188 Trading Post and head north-west to discover the Deserted Shack for XP and a map marker.

Continue east, then north-east to reach Mountain Shadows Campground. Loot a Sunset Sarsaparilla Star Bottle Cap from a table.

Proceed east to Ranger Station Alpha. Loot two Ammo Boxes [Easy] from the central tent and one Ammo Box [Average] from the southern tent. The Mine Box [Easy] is also in the central tent. Talk to Ranger Lineholm and Comm Officer Castillo, though they have no significant information.

Head east through hills to Boulder Beach Campground on the Colorado riverbank. Be aware of Lakelurks.

Follow the road north along the Colorado. At a sharp bend turning north-west, defeat two Lakelurks.

Enter the water north of the Lakelurks' location and dive to find a submerged Sunset Sarsaparilla truck. Loot Sunset Sarsaparilla crates and Star Bottle Caps from the river bottom.

From the truck, swim east-north-east to find the Scavenger Platform, which may be infested with Lakelurks. It's recommended to use a powerful weapon like the Gobi for quick kills.
