Follow this Mass Effect: Andromeda Emergency SOS guide to find the source of the distress call, discover the truth about the Outlaws, and complete the quest for rewards.
Walkthrough
- 1From the wind farm, drive northwest to a fork in the road near Remnant ruins.
- 2Take the northeastern branch.
- 3At the second fork, turn northwest again and drive up the mountain road until you receive comm chatter, which initiates this quest. This occurs shortly after passing the Angaran town where the quest “Something in the Water” begins.
- 4Continue following the road past the Angaran town towards the navpoint for the S.O.S.
- 5Drive into the more open expanse of Kurinth’s Valley.
- 6Navigate around a toxic lake and over or around some small hills north of it.
- 7Continue northwest down into another valley containing a toxic lake.
- 8Turn west and head towards one of Kadara’s elevated structures, where the navpoint indicates the S.O.S. is originating from.
- 9Cross a bridge leading to the structure’s outer door.
- 10Proceed through two doors.
- 11You will find two Outlaws who are not in apparent need of aid.
- 12Scan the Outlaws to confirm they are “cognitively impaired.”
- 13Read the nearby datapad for further evidence.
- 14Chat with the Outlaws to learn the nature of the distress call.
- 15Finish your conversation with them to complete the quest.
Tips
- As you leave, scan an Adapted Initiative Core Tech device for Research Data.
- The quest seems to end prematurely. You can obtain UV Lights from a Salarian refugee in the isolated refugee structure where the quest “Task: Broken Family” takes place. These UV Lights can be given to the Outlaws in this quest.
- You can also speak with a Turian refugee to learn about another afflicted refugee who requires antibiotics. The Outlaws offer these antibiotics if you replace their broken UV light.
- It appears you can take plants from the Outlaws to give to the refugees, but this action is not mandatory to complete the quest satisfactorily, nor is giving them a UV light.
