Guide to completing the 'A Lost Sister' side quest in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Learn how to find Sage Amurd's sister, Amara, by searching for records in a Roekaar camp.
Alright, so you're working on the quest "A Dying Planet" and you've just finished chatting with First Sage Esmus up in that big Remnant structure, Mithrava. Head southeast from there, and you'll run into Sage Amurd. He's not doing so hot, but before he goes, he really wants to see his sister, Amara, one last time. Problem is, his memory's a bit fuzzy, and it's been ages since she lived in Pelaav. We need to dig up some records to figure out where she might have ended up.
You can actually pick this quest up during "A Dying Planet," but it'll go on pause until you get a bit further into that main quest and can actually get to the eastern side of Havarl, past that big trench. Once you've snagged Zorai's Heirloom, you'll be able to cross a bridge over that trench. Head across and make your way to the Roekaar camp way over on the eastern edge of the map. You'll know it because "A Dying Planet" takes you there too. Once you're in the camp, look for the southernmost of the three structures. Inside, you'll find an Archive System.
Now, things are a little messed up thanks to time, so whip out your scanner. You should see a yellow conduit on the ground. Follow that conduit behind the building, and it'll lead you to a generator. Give that a little nudge, and it'll power back up without much fuss. Head back inside the building, and you can finally pull the data you need from the Archive System. With that info in hand, just head back to Sage Amurd. Completing this will bag you 530 XP.
