Stage a Rescue

Return to the Nomad and drive northwest and north around Hjara Station to find a Mining Zone. Then, turn east to reach the third Forward Station, or drive east from the second Forward Station. Alternatively, drive north, deplete the Mining Zone, return to the Forward Station near Hjara Station, and then drive east and slightly south to find another Kett camp. Clear the camp, scan for Angaran corpses or bugs, and continue east along a trail.

If you drive creatively, you can find more rare minerals at a Mining Zone past a bridge. Drive onto a frozen lake to deploy another Forward Station.

Shortly on the trail, you will reach a bridge where the path splits. Crossing the bridge leads to mountains with a Mining Zone. Use the Nomad's six-wheel drive mode to traverse the slopes and access Eezo and Platinum deposits.

Afterward, return to the western side of the bridge and follow the tracks north under the bridge, then east to a frozen lake. Ignore the road and continue northeast to find the third Forward Station.

From the Forward Station, drive northeast around the high ground and follow a trail north to reach the labor camp.

Engage and exterminate the numerous Kett guarding the camp, including Chosen, Anointed, Wraith, and Destined. Be aware that more Kett will arrive via multiple dropships in waves. The final waves will land on a platform on the northeastern edge of the camp.

After defeating the last waves, loot the dropped items and explore the central structure. Search containers and interact with a terminal containing entries about the Angara abductions.

Free the four Angara prisoners.

Wait for Niilj to get into position and talk to him. He will give you a data drive with Kett intel to take to his sister, Buxil, in Techiix.

Jaal will appear if he is not already with you. You will be congratulated by him and Evfra will trust you.

You will be given a choice: chat with Evfra to continue with 'A Trail of Hope' and its related quests, or end the 'Stage a Rescue' quest and begin 'Meet the Family' by seeing to unfinished business on Voeld. The guide proceeds with 'A Trail of Hope' for continuity.
