Precious Cargo

Follow this guide to complete the 'Precious Cargo' quest in Mass Effect: Andromeda. Get Reyes's stolen loot back from Zia Cordier and earn rewards.

Alright, so you've wrapped up that whole murder mystery on Kadara, right? Good! Now, Reyes Vidal, that smooth operator, has another little job for you. He's got a rival, Zia Cordier, who apparently 'borrowed' some of his stuff. Since you helped him out before, he figures you're the perfect person to get it back.

First things first, head back to Kadara Port. Make your way to Kralla’s Song, that bar in the Slums, and find Reyes in his private room. He'll lay out the situation: Zia's made off with his loot. You can chat with him, ask any questions you have, and then agree to help him out. This kicks off the 'Precious Cargo' quest.

Next, you'll need to chat with Umi, the bartender at Kralla’s Song. Reyes will have you do most of the legwork here, but hey, he's just trying to avoid a messy situation with an ex, right? Umi will give you the intel you need.

Now, it's time to hit the badlands. Fast-travel to the Spirits’ Ledge Forward Station in the southeastern part of the map. From there, hop in the Nomad and drive northwest. Look for a slope you can take the Nomad up – it's usually opposite that Outcast/Collective camp. Once you're up there, follow the elevated ground southeast until you see some debris. Your target is a sealed door built into some rocks just southwest of that debris.

You'll need to scan the ground below the door to find a wire. Follow this wire as it winds southeast; it'll lead you to a console. Honestly, you'd think they'd have better tech by now than hiding consoles outside, but here we are. Activate the console, then head back northwest to the door. It should be open now. Inside, you'll find a Datapad. This little guy has the intel you need, presumably showing you where Zia stashed Reyes's cargo. A bit over-the-top for hiding loot, but at least you've got a lead!

Your next stop is the Haarfel Forward Station. Fast-travel there and then head east towards the navpoint you got from the Datapad. It's pointing to a structure near the end of the road. Head inside, and you'll find Reyes Vidal. He'll be complaining about the cargo, and then BAM! Zia shows up. They'll have a little argument, and then Zia and her crew attack. You'll be facing a Sharpshooter and some Raiders, plus Zia herself. Nothing you haven't handled before, so take them down.

Once the dust settles, you'll get your rewards: 73 AVP, a +5% boost to Kadara's viability, and 530 XP. The quest technically ends after the fight, but you might as well wrap things up properly. Loot everyone, then head upstairs. You'll need to scan an Angaran Integrated Tech Node device. After that, have a final chat with Reyes to officially complete the mission.
