Defeating the Kett

Travel to the Sheartop Forward Station and drive northwest to reach the outskirts of the Kett base.

Engage the Kett forces in the exposed area, dealing with Chosen, Anointed, and two Turrets. Use Kett crates for cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects).

Defeat the Kett and proceed up a ramp to a Locked Console. Unlock it.

Immediately take cover (press the cover button to crouch behind walls or objects) and defend the area against multiple Kett reinforcements arriving via dropships, including Chosen and Wraiths. A shotgun is recommended.

After the dropship assault, head northwest through a pair of doors to enter the shielded portion of the base.

Fight off an initial group of Kett (Chosen, an Anointed, and Wraiths).

Continue northwest to find a console. Interacting with it will place two navpoints on opposite ends of circular walkways.

Proceed to one navpoint. Invictor will call for reinforcements: a squad of Chosen led by an Anointed, arriving via dropship. Defeat them.

Sabotage the console at this navpoint.

Repeat steps 6-9 at the second navpoint.

Return to the central console and ascend to the platform above.

Locate and interface with the console to the northwest to disable the base's shield. Note that another console here disables alarms for the stronghold.

Drop down to the northwest and proceed along a walkway, up ramps and stairs, to the heart of the Kett base.

An alarm will sound. You can deactivate it by backtracking to the platform to the southeast or using consoles ahead. While the alarm is active, Kett dropships will periodically attack.

Disable three security overrides: one in the upper floor of a multi-floor structure to the northwest, and two along walkways to the west. You will face waves of Kett (Chosen, Wraiths, Anointed) while these are active.

Fight up a ramp to the northwest, turn south, and ascend another ramp. Follow a walkway west then northwest to find the first security override console near the entrance to a structure. Disable it.

Enter the structure to the northwest. A console in the western corner can turn off the alarm if needed. Turn northeast and ascend a ramp into the interior of the multi-level structure.

Turn southeast and be aware of Kett emerging from below. Your goal is at the southeastern end of this chamber. Disable the second security console.

Turn northeast to find another alarm-disabling console, if necessary.

Fight northwest down the northeastern end of the room until you find an opening to the northeast. Head back outside and descend a ramp.

Turn northwest at the end of the ramp and follow a curving walkway to a circular platform. Look southwest to spot a circular structure below, beyond another walkway.

At the southwestern end of this structure is the third and final security override console. Disable it.

Jump onto the roof of this structure and turn northwest to enter a chamber with a final console. Interface with it. This will make enemies finite and the alarm deactivation permanent.

Prepare for the final encounter. Sweep the base for any remaining Kett, loot containers, and resupply.

Descend to the core of the Kett base to confront and defeat Invictor.

Shut down the base to complete the mission.
