Hey there! So you've heard about the Ba'als, huh? These guys are the real deal, often way tougher than even the final boss of Bravely Second. They show up around Fort-Lune when you update your game data or StreetPass with someone else. Sometimes you'll face other tough monsters too, but we'll just lump them all in with the Ba'als for simplicity.

The level of a Ba'al you encounter actually depends on how you get it. If it's from Square Enix via an update, it'll be a set level. But if you get it from another player, it scales to your current level when it arrives. Pretty neat, right? You can also use those Buster Ships to lower their level if you want an easier fight, but for this guide, we're going to assume you're fighting them at an equal or higher level.

Even if you're significantly higher level, don't expect these fights to be a walk in the park. Ba'als are known for being tricky and hard to read, so it's a good idea to tackle them after you've finished the main story, or at least gotten pretty close to the end.
