Guide yourself through Yunohana in Bravely Second, including how to find Lord Arima and defeat the challenging boss, Angelo Nonpareil, and his minions.

Alright, let's head back to Yunohana to get things rolling. Make your way to the bathhouse on the east side of town. Once you're inside, find Sakura behind the counter on the middle floor. She can't help us directly, but she'll point you toward Yunohana's ruler, Lord Arima.

After chatting with Sakura, head back outside to the town plaza. Look for the stairs in the center and go up to reach Arima's castle. Before you go in to see him, take a moment to explore the south-west corner of the area. You should find a Spider's Web just lying around. Kind of gross, right?

Now, when you go talk to Arima, get ready! It's going to trigger a boss battle against another one of the Glanz Empire's goons. Make sure you're prepared, especially for that 'little surprise' we hinted at earlier.

Boss: Angelo Nonpareil

Here's the lowdown on our opponents:

BossLevelHPWeakness
Angelo3725000Nothing
Imperial Katana Van375550Lightning
Imperial Medic Van332145Nothing

Okay, so here's the kicker: whoever you picked for this fight is going to turn into a Ghost. This means they can't use physical attacks or items, so you'll want that character to be a magic-user. If they're not, they're basically useless in this state. The good news is, ghosts can't take damage and won't die, so use that to your advantage.

Angelo himself will start things off with Sponge Cake, which lowers a character's physical defense. Sometimes, he'll also use Charm Cheesecake to try and charm one of your party members. To counter Sponge Cake, you can cast Physical Ward Mist. For the charm effect, make sure your three non-ghost characters have Lockets from Hartschild's armoury.

Now, about Angelo's fan club... The Medic will use Vigor Tonic to boost Angelo's BP by 1, and the Katana can use Decapitate to instantly KO anyone with critical HP. The Katana also has Thorny Rose to counter physical attacks. Even if you manage to take out his helpers, Angelo will just summon another pair after a while.

Here's a pro tip to save your BP: try to get rid of the Medic and leave the Katana alive. Angelo won't summon reinforcements as long as one of them is still standing. From there, just keep healing your party so Decapitate doesn't catch you off guard. Once you get the hang of dealing with the ghost mechanic, the charm, and Angelo's reinforcements, this fight should be pretty smooth sailing. Angelo has a good amount of HP, but his defenses aren't too tough, so it won't be long before he's defeated.

A Just Reward

After surviving that ordeal, leave Arima's castle and head back to the Bathhouse to relax. Remember, only Tiz or Yew can enter the men's bathhouse. While you're all enjoying a well-deserved soak, something happens that's going to change everything.

Once the party has regrouped, go upstairs and check out the folding screen at the far end. What's behind it? Give the area beyond a good look. Surprise! The ship you've been searching for was right under your noses the whole time!

A ship that's also a hot spring? Talk about lucky!
