Learn how to defeat the formidable duo Aimee and Angelo in Bravely Second's Florem Gardens (Part 2) with this detailed boss fight guide. Includes strategies and tips.

Stats / Weaknesses:

  • Aimee - Level 54, 50000 HP, No Weakness
  • Angelo - Level 54, 45000 HP, No Weakness

Phases:

  1. Aimee's Opening: Aimee starts by using Firehead to imbue her weapon with fire. She'll then often Brave twice for two attacks and one Maverick, leaving her vulnerable for two turns. Alternatively, she might Default and later unleash two Shrike attacks.
  2. Angelo's Attacks: Angelo uses Flambee, which deals more damage based on your accumulated BP, or Fire Cake to make your party weak to fire. He can also use Phantom Cake to inflict the Ghost status on a character, preventing physical actions.
  3. Combined Threat: This duo is dangerous together. Their fire attacks, combined with the Ghost status, can quickly take down your party, especially if you're already weak to fire.

Strategy:

  • The Fire Mirror Blast Trick: If you have a high-level Astrologian with the Spellcraft ability, you can combine Elemental Mirror - Fire with Blast (or Mist). This creates a party-wide magic that reflects fire-based physical attacks, which is most of what Aimee and Angelo do. This also bypasses the Ghost status issue, as the reflection is magic.
  • Focus Angelo First: Once your party is protected by the Fire Mirror Blast, focus your attacks on Angelo, as he is the weaker of the two.
  • Ghost Status Warning: Be aware that the Ghost status overrides the Fire Reflect. If a character becomes Ghosted, you may need to pull them back or switch tactics temporarily to keep them alive.
  • For a Laugh (Optional): You can field your own Patissier and use Flaming Foundant (Biscuit + Chantilly) to make Aimee and Angelo weak to fire. Then, watch as their own attacks backfire on them. You can even buff them to amplify the comedic effect.

After the boss fight, exit the area via the north to reach the thick of the gardens. Speak to Tsubaki, the orange cat on the north-west side of the precipice. Once their plan is set in motion, your task here is complete. Use a Teleport Stone to return to the world map and then summon the Rubadub to fly directly to Sagitta Village.
