King Hrolf Kraki is the final Berserker you'll face in God of War Ragnarök, located in a large frozen arena in the far east of Midgard's Lake of Nine. You can only challenge him after defeating all other Berserkers, including Skjothendi the Unerring in Niflheim, and obtaining the Hilt of Skofnung during the story mission "The Word of Fate". Activating his gravestone initiates a challenging boss fight that combines the movesets of all previous Berserkers.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• King Hrolf Kraki wields the combined arsenal of all other Berserkers.
• He is extremely aggressive and does not follow a predictable attack pattern.
• Effective use of parries, dodges, and shield bashes is crucial.

Phases:

1. Phase 1: Initial Encounter
   Kraki begins the fight with a mix of his inherited attacks. Focus on learning his tells and reacting accordingly.
2. Phase 2: Increased Aggression & Combined Attacks
   As the fight progresses, Kraki may chain attacks more rapidly and combine elemental effects with his physical assaults.

Strategy:

• Leaping Sword Swing (Yellow-Ring): Parry or double dodge to the side. Dodging is safer if parrying is difficult.
• Charged Clap (Blue-Ring): Shield Bash immediately to interrupt. The Onslaught Shield's Shield Rush can help close distance if you're far away.
• Poison Slam (Red-Ring): Double roll backward out of the poison circle. Be quick to react.
• Fire/Frost Orb (Red-Ring): Throw your spear or axe at the orb to destroy it. Manually aim quickly as Kraki may attack simultaneously. If struggling, use Spartan Rage to mitigate damage.
• Fire/Frost/Lightning Storm (Red-Ring): Avoid the large red circles on the ground. Drop lock-on to maneuver more freely. Fire requires circling, Frost involves avoiding persistent circles, and Lightning requires quick, circular dodges.
• Bifrost Blast: Interrupt by throwing your spear or axe at him while he charges.
• Teleport Smash (Red-Ring): Sidestep or double roll away from the green circle that appears beneath you. Later variations may add elemental effects.
• Elemental Wave: Walk in one direction and dodge to the opposite side as the wave approaches.
• General Tips: Stay mobile and keep an eye on the ring colors to anticipate attack types. Utilize Spartan Rage strategically for damage or survival. If you die, you will respawn near the gravestone, encouraging repeated attempts.
