    To begin, ensure you have completed the main quest Creatures of Prophecy. This unlocks the favor Scent of Survival in Freyr’s Camp, which in turn unlocks The Crater.

    Travel to The Sinkholes. Follow the initial steps of the Quaking Hollow favor until you reach an area where a dragon appears.

    The dragon will initially perch on a pillar. Use your Draupnir Spear to target a wind vent on the pillar and detonate it, causing the pillar to crumble.

    The dragon will move to another pillar. Repeat the process: toss your spear at the wind vent and detonate it. The dragon will then fly off, officially starting the favor The Burning Skies.

    Return to the first pillar's location and use the chain to open a gate.

    After clearing the enemies, locate the rocks with wind vents. Safely hit all three points from the alcoves with your spear to open a passage.

    Proceed through the passage, clear out more enemies, and climb a ledge.

    The dragon will appear again. Between its fire bursts, climb up and use your spear on a wind vent at the far end of the tunnel to destroy a wall.

    Kick down a chain on the side to create another shortcut.

    Head to the opposite end and climb another wall, leading to the dragon boss fight.

The Ash Tyrant Boss Fight:

  1. The Ash Tyrant is a fire-elemental dragon. It will likely start by flying before crashing down to fight.
  2. Its attacks include fire breath, fireballs, and melee strikes. When it prepares these attacks, its neck will glow similarly to the wind vents.
  3. Target the glowing neck with your Draupnir Spear and detonate it to make the dragon collapse for a few seconds.
  4. After dealing enough damage, the dragon will retreat, and normal enemies will spawn.
  5. The dragon will return, perching on a pillar. Quickly defeat the summoned enemies.
  6. Locate the wind vent on the pillar and destroy it with your spear.
  7. Continue fighting the dragon, as more normal enemies, including a Wyvern, will be summoned.
  8. Defeat all summoned enemies and destroy the second pillar the dragon perches on.
  9. The dragon will remain in the arena. Continue attacking it until you can perform a Stun Grab to finish it off.
  10. Completing this fight concludes the favor.
Tips
  • When the Ash Tyrant’s neck is glowing, it's your prime opportunity to use your Draupnir Spear for a stun.
  • Be prepared for waves of normal enemies to spawn during the boss fight, sometimes mixed with the dragon's attacks.
  • Utilize the alcoves in the tunnel section to avoid the dragon's fire breath and to push enemies into it.
