Where to Find the Mystical Heirloom Relic

To craft the Steinbjorn Armor Set, you need resources from specific trolls. First, you must acquire the Mystical Heirloom Relic to initiate these troll battles. The relic is located in Midgard. Ensure you have completed the story mission “Forging Destiny” to unlock the Draupnir Spear.

With the Draupnir Spear, travel to the Lake of Nine in Midgard. Head south of Tyr’s Temple, which is centrally located. In the frozen lake, find a block of ice emitting a golden glow. Throw your spear at it and detonate it to break the ice. Inside the opening, you will find a Lore Scroll and the Mystical Heirloom Relic next to a dead body.

Where to Find the Trolls

Crafting the armor requires four Slumber Stones: one each for the Wrist and Waist pieces, and two for the chest. Each troll drops one Slumber Stone, meaning you must defeat all four trolls to complete the set. You can acquire the set pieces individually.

Troll Statue 1 - The Derelict Outpost, Midgard

Equip the Mystical Heirloom Relic and travel to The Derelict Outpost, west of the relic's location. Follow the path until you reach a room with a Mysterious Gate. Climb the golden chain opposite it and head west, passing the Blacksmith. At the end of the path, turn south and throw your axe at the crane to cross the gap. Grapple across, and repeat the process with the next crane. After grappling across again, you will be outside. Defeat any enemies present, then proceed forward. A large statue will be to your left. Activate the relic by pressing L1 + ◯ to awaken the statue.

How to Defeat the Troll Blodugr Steinn in Midgard

Blodugr Steinn is a large troll that attacks by walking towards you and slamming a stone pillar. To defeat it, maintain distance and throw your spear at its head, which will cause it to flinch and slow its advance. You may need multiple spear throws. When the troll approaches and attempts to slam the pillar, dodge to the side and retreat to the other end of the area, continuing to throw spears at its head. Combine this with your companion's abilities to deplete its health. Upon defeat, collect the loot, including a Slumber Stone needed for crafting the armor.

Tips for the Blodugr Steinn Fight:

• Maintain distance and throw spears at the troll’s head. Use the Spear Drill skill (Ranged tree) for increased damage.
• Detonate the spears by pressing/holding △ after about five throws for extra damage.
• Fighting at melee range can result in the troll blinding you by throwing dust in your eyes. Dodge backward to avoid this.
• The troll can also spin with its stone pillar out when in melee range.
• Use Spartan Rage if your health is low or the troll is near defeat.

Troll Statue 2 - The Forbidden Sands, Alfheim

The second troll statue is in Alfheim, within The Forbidden Sands. Teleport to the Hjarta Mysterious Gate and head southwest, then north. The statue is located in the northwest corner of the area. It is recommended to complete the Favor “Song of the Sands” beforehand to clear the sandstorm, which can make the fight more difficult.

Travel west across the sand, then head north. Look for a fence made of branches to identify the correct area. At the end of the fence, there is a passage. Straight ahead of this passage is a ledge you can grapple up. Here you will encounter the troll Bjarg Stormr.
