Discover the locations of all 48 of Odin's Ravens in God of War Ragnarök. Learn how to defeat The Raven Keeper and The Pale One bosses and claim your Legendary Chest rewards.

There are a total of 48 Odin’s Ravens to find and kill in God of War Ragnarok across various realms. These can be collected at any point in the game and do not become inaccessible after completing the main story. You will need the Draupnir Spear, acquired during the 'Forging Destiny' main quest, to access some areas containing ravens.

Ravens can be killed with ranged attacks using the Leviathan Axe or the Draupnir Spear. The Draupnir Spear is generally faster and allows for multiple throws, potentially making it easier to hit flying ravens. Some ravens may require you to be in a different area than where you first spotted them to hit them.

Odin's Raven Locations

The 48 Ravens are distributed as follows:

  • Svartalfheim: 13
  • Alfheim: 10
  • Vanaheim: 15
  • Midgard: 6
  • Helheim: 2
  • Muspelheim: 2

Links to detailed collectible pages for each region are provided in the original source.

Odin's Raven Legendary Chest Rewards

As you kill ravens, they are sent to a tree in Niflheim. Killing a specific number of ravens unlocks Legendary Chests beneath the tree, each containing a reward and expanding a poem recited by the ravens.

How to Defeat The Raven Keeper and The Pale One

After killing all 48 ravens, return to Niflheim to open the final Legendary Chest. The ravens will speak another verse, and then The Raven Keeper boss will appear. This is a Seidr boss with teleportation abilities and unique special attacks.

The Raven Keeper - Boss Fight Strategy

  1. Begin the fight by using all available Light and Heavy Runic Attacks, Relic, and Hilt abilities to maximize initial damage and ensure they are off cooldown quickly.
  2. Expect to deal at least a quarter of the boss's health with these initial special attacks.
  3. Hel-Walkers will spawn; deal with them using regular melee or ranged combos. The Raven Keeper will reappear regardless of whether the Hel-Walkers are defeated.
  4. Watch for the boss's teleports and be prepared for their special attacks, as your own special attacks will be on cooldown.
  5. The Raven Keeper can use an ice wall attack, similar to Kratos's Leviathan Axe ability. This can be blocked, parried with any shield, or dodged.
  6. An ice breath attack, indicated by a red ring, cannot be blocked or parried and must be dodged. Using a special attack close to the boss can interrupt red ring attacks.
  7. When The Raven Keeper reaches half health, another wave of Hel-Walkers, including elites, will spawn. Break through enemy blocking defenses by double-tapping to execute a shield attack, which is also necessary for concentric blue ring attacks.

The fight also includes a phase where you must fight a dragon named The Pale One.
