Complete the Conscience for the Dead Favor in God of War Ragnarök. Learn how to start the quest, defeat the corrupted enemies, and claim your reward.
Walkthrough
- 1After completing 'The Reckoning' main story quest, you will gain the ability to use your chisel on mirrors.
- 2As you leave Vanaheim with Freya, you'll encounter a mirror that opens a path to a shore with a Mystic Gateway.
- 3Explore Vanaheim further by using a Sonic Arrow to break a log near the River Delta Mystic Gateway.
- 4Head to Cliffside Ruins, located across from the River Delta Mystic Gateway. Clear out any enemies present.
- 5Find the spirit that gives this Favor along the back cliffside of Cliffside Ruins.
- 6To progress, face the spirit and climb the wall to her left. Hop onto the platforms and find the one closest to the cliffside.
- 7Use Sigil Arrows with Freya to create a chain reaction that ignites the Blades of Chaos (L2 + R2) to burn the vines, dropping a chain.
- 8Climb the dropped chain and follow the path to a mirror. Use your chisel on the mirror to open a path deeper into the River Delta.
- 9Return to your boat and sail down the path you just opened, heading towards The Veiled Passage.
- 10Ignore the first shore (unless you need The Mysterious Orb Favor). Continue to the end of the path and dock your boat.
- 11Break through the wooden barrier, destroy the exploding plants, and climb the wall.
- 12Follow the trail upwards to find and defeat the corrupted enemies. There will be two waves of two enemies, followed by a final single enemy.
- 13At the end of the trail, use the chain to reach a different area of Cliffside Ruins.
- 14Here you will find collectibles and a chain that lowers a raised bridge.
- 15Return to Gunhild (the spirit) to complete the Favor.
Tips
- The path to The Veiled Passage is found by taking the left fork in the river after sailing down the newly opened path.
- The exploding plants can be used to damage enemies.
