The Burrows is an optional region in Alfheim accessible after completing the main quest The Reckoning and obtaining the upgraded chisel. It's located in The Forbidden Sands, which can be reached by opening a sealed door on the western edge of The Barrens.

This guide details the locations of all collectibles within The Burrows:

1. Rune Read - Sacrifice (Lore): Progress through The Burrows until you reach a large chamber with a tree in the middle. After clearing out the enemies (Wretch Hive, Grims, Light Elves), find the Rune Read on a wall southwest of the tree.
2. Legendary Chest - Hel’s Touch: Continue past the Lore collectible, squeezing through a gap and completing climbing sections. In the large cavern with more enemies, climb a wall on the southwestern edge. Turn north, northwest, and look down to find a slab of Twilight Stone. Use it to cut a dense hive tendril. Climb back down, then climb the wall where the tendril was to reach the ledge with the chest containing the Hel’s Touch Light Runic Attack for the Leviathan Axe.
3. Legendary Chest - Nemean Crush: After freeing the Hafgufa, return to the chamber entrance and head northeast. Drop down a ledge into a chamber previously blocked by hive. Defeat the Bergsra and Grims, then find the chest at the northern end of the chamber containing the Nemean Crush Heavy Runic Attack for the Blades of Chaos.
4. Tribute to Freyr - Pipe (Artifact): In the same chamber as the Nemean Crush Legendary Chest, search the northwestern end near a ruined column to find the Artifact.

Loot Lizard: While not a collectible, a Loot Lizard can be found in the same cavern as the Hel’s Touch Legendary Chest. From the elevated ledge of the chest, look south to spot the lizard on the floor below. Throw the Leviathan Axe at it to defeat it and collect its resources.
