Across the Realms

Follow our guide to complete the Across the Realms favor in God of War Ragnarök. Find all four rare ingredients and earn a permanent +5 stat boost.

You can start the Across the Realms favor during Kratos’s first trip to Midgard in the main quest The Word of Fate, or any time after. However, you cannot complete it until after the main quest Creatures of Prophecy, and you must first complete the Scent of Survival favor to access The Crater region in Vanaheim.

To start the favor, head to The Eternal Campfire in Midgard, located northeast of Tyr’s Temple in the Lake of Nine. Search the snowy ground near the campfire for a recipe to begin.

To complete the favor, you need to find four rare ingredients scattered across the realms:

• Nordic Gourd (Midgard)
• Elven Cap (Alfheim)
• Prongfruit (Svartalfheim)
• Bantam Melon (Vanaheim)

Midgard: Nordic Gourd
From The Eternal Campfire, head northeast and drop down. Look for heart graffiti on a rock face to the northeast. The Nordic Gourd is in a snow bank in front of it.

Alfheim: Elven Cap
Travel to The Hjarta, then walk or ride to The Forbidden Sands. Go to the westernmost corner and find a collapsed pillar. A red heart marks the spot. Crawl under the pillar and turn right (west) to find the Elven Cap.

Svartalfheim: Prongfruit
Travel to Nidavellir Beach. Use a Draupnir Spear to leap a gap south, then continue south past a Berserker Gravestone and up a ramp to a rail car. Ride it to The Forge. Descend ramps and head north, then northwest, sticking to the right until you find a vaultable ledge. Step up and continue east, searching near a Nornir Chest for the Prongfruit.

Vanaheim: Bantam Melon
Travel to The Sinkholes in The Crater. Turn southeast, jump a gap, turn left, and go down stairs to a river. Turn right (northeast) and follow the water's edge. Look northwest for hearts on the far wall. Jump northeast across the river to find the Bantam Melon.

Once you have all four ingredients, return to The Eternal Campfire in Midgard and interact with it to cook the Meal of Comfort. This will complete the favor and grant a permanent +5 boost to all of Kratos’s stats.
