Alright, so you've stumbled upon the Frost Phantom in the Forbidden Sands of Alfheim. Don't worry, it looks intimidating, but we can get through this. It's located in the eastern part of the area, southeast of The Burrows. Just keep an eye out as you approach, and it'll make its dramatic entrance.

Stats / Weaknesses:

• Runic Core: This is its weak spot, similar to a head. Hitting it builds stun.
• Obelisks: Destroying these deals significant damage to the Frost Phantom.

Phases:

1. Observe and dodge the Frost Phantom's attacks.
2. Hit the Runic Core to build stun and stagger it.
3. When staggered, get in close for free hits.
4. Once stunned, destroy the summoned obelisks.
5. Repeat until the Frost Phantom is defeated.

Strategy:

• Watch its moves: The Frost Phantom has attacks like ground slams and tail swipes. They can be tough to read because of its amorphous shape, so step back and watch a few cycles. Most attacks can be dodged by rolling away or to the side.
• Watch for the tell: It usually raises its whole body before attacking. Yellow ring attacks can be blocked or parried, but red ring attacks *must* be dodged unless you can interrupt them. It'll start chaining attacks more often later on, so be careful not to rush back in too quickly after a ground slam.
• Target the Runic Core: Once you're comfortable dodging, start hitting the Runic Core (its head) with your Leviathan Axe throws or melee attacks. Melee will do more damage, but throwing the axe is safer. Use your Light and Heavy Runic Attacks early and often to maximize their uses throughout the fight.
• Hilt of Gram is your friend: If you have the Hilt of Gram relic, now's the time to use it! It gives you a brief rage boost and inflicts stun damage, which is super helpful here. It can even interrupt some of its attacks if timed right.
• Build that Stun: Keep hitting the Runic Core until its stun bar fills up. When it's full, Mimir or Atreus/Freya will usually comment, and the Runic Core will glow more, often dropping its head. This is your chance to get in close and wail on it without it fighting back. Just be ready to dodge as soon as it recovers.
• Destroy the Obelisks: After you've filled the stun bar, you'll need to attack one of the three obelisks that spawn. Throw your Leviathan Axe at it until it's destroyed. Each destroyed obelisk takes off one of the Frost Phantom's main health bars.
• The Obelisk locations: The first one is usually out in the open. The second one appears on a tower, and the third is at the end of the structure where the phantom first spawned.
• Finishing Blow: After destroying all three obelisks, the Frost Phantom will be defeated. You'll then get a prompt to perform a Stun Grab with !DualSense-R3 to finish it off.
• Rewards: You'll get a bunch of crafting materials and the Alfheim's Honor enchantment, which is great for your Amulet of Yggdrasil.
