Where to Find All Ravens in Jarnsmida Pitmines

Upon first arriving in Jarnsmida Pitmines, after defeating the initial group of Grim, head to the southern edge of the large initial area. Locate the giant wheel on the cliffside. Look out beyond the wheel to spot a Raven flying around. While it can be hit from this upper area, a simpler method exists. On the right side of the giant wheel, use the chain to descend to a lower section. From this lower vantage point, you should have an easier time hitting the Raven with your axe.

Things Left Behind - Lofnheid’s Whetstone

The first Artifact is located near the Raven’s spot. After clearing the enemies upon arrival, go to the southern end and find the giant wheel. Use the golden chain on the right side of the wheel to drop into a lower area. The Artifact will be on the ground in this small area. This is part of the Things Left Behind set.

Kvasir’s Poem - Tool and Bang

The second Artifact is found later, after obtaining the light source from Sindri. You will encounter a lever that can be moved with the Blades of Chaos, accessible from the larger area near where Sindri was located, just before entering the mines. Pulling this lever moves a large block into the preceding area via a crane. Use the Blades of Chaos to climb onto this block. From the block, look for a nearby wooden waterway and freeze it with your axe. This action causes the crane to move the block to another area. Proceed to the end of this area to find the Kvasir’s Poem artifact on the ground, situated to the left of a Legendary Chest.

Nornir Chest Puzzle Solution in Jarnsmida Pitmines

The single Nornir Chest in this area is located just after you freeze your first wooden waterway to lower a grapple point. After using the grapple point, you will find the Nornir Chest directly in front of you. This chest requires you to light three torches using the Blades of Chaos.

• Torch 1 (R): The first brazier is to the immediate left of the Nornir Chest.
• Torch 2 (N): Facing the chest, turn left and drop down the ledge. You will see a grapple point across a gap. Cross the gap and light the torch.
• Torch 3 (C): This torch is best lit last. Facing the Nornir Chest, drop off the ledge to your left. You will see the torch, but water is flowing over it, which will extinguish any flame. Before attempting this, ensure you have lit the second torch above. Throw your axe at the wooden waterway above this area to freeze the water. This action lowers the grapple point, preventing access to the (N) Rune, but allows you to light the (C) Rune.

Where to Find All Lore in Jarnsmida Pitmines

The single piece of Lore in Jarnsmida Pitmines is situated near one of the other collectibles. When dealing with the Nornir Chest, you will need to drop down a ledge and grapple across a gap to reach the (N) Rune torch. While facing this Rune, look to your left to find the Rune Read on the wall.

Legendary Chest - Pommels of the Undying Spark

The Legendary Chest in Jarnsmida is easily found if you are also seeking the second Artifact (Kvasir’s Poem), as they are located next to each other. After acquiring the light source from Sindri, you will find a lever that can be manipulated with the Blades of Chaos. This lever is accessible from the larger area near where Sindri was, just before entering the mines. Pulling the lever activates a crane that moves a large block into the preceding area. Use the Blades of Chaos to ascend this block. From the block, locate a nearby wooden waterway and freeze it with your axe. This action causes the crane to move the block to another location. The Legendary Chest is found at the end of this path, to the right of the Artifact. It contains a new Pommel for your Blades of Chaos.

Where to Find the Berserker Gravestone in the Jarnsmida Pitmines

The Berserker Gravestone in Jarnsmida Pitmines can be found immediately upon emerging from The Applecore during your second visit to the area. It is also visible as you make your way towards The Applecore for the first time.
