This guide details the locations of all collectibles within The Strond area of Alfheim in God of War Ragnarök. The Strond is accessible during the main quest "Groa’s Secret." Many collectibles require story progression and unlocked abilities, but none are missable as they can be collected post-game.

Where to Find All Lore (Poems) in The Strond

There are two lore collectibles in The Strond.

1. Lore 1: Immediately upon entering The Strond via the Mystic Gateway, interact with the glowing blue writing on the wall directly ahead.
2. Lore 2: Return to the Mystic Gateway and take the eastern path up two platforms. Continue east to a ledge and look down to find a lore tablet in the snow. Drop to the lower ledge and interact with it.

Where to Find All Hel Tears in The Strond

There is one Hel Tear in The Strond. This collectible will not appear until you reach the Main Mission: "Reunion." From the location of the second lore collectible, drop to the ledge on your right to find the Hel Tear.

Where to Find All Nornir Chests in The Strond

There are two Nornir Chests in The Strond.

Nornir Chest 1 (Brazier Puzzle)

This chest is found near the second lore collectible. Grapple back up, squeeze through the gap to the south, and head southeast. Drop to the ledge below.

To open this chest, you must light three braziers using Kratos’ Blade of Chaos skill "Flaming Surge" (hold R2 + press L2). The braziers are located as follows:

• Rune 1 (C): To the left of the chest on the small northern platform. Rubble can be broken with the Leviathan Axe.
• Rune 2 (n): Follow the path to the right of the chest and look below the southern ledge.
• Rune 3 (R): Grapple back up the way you came, climb the two ledges to the southwest. At the top, look over the southeastern ledge to find the brazier on a ledge to your right.

Nornir Chest 2 (Draupnir Spear Puzzle)

Retrace your steps to the area with the twilight stones. Instead of dropping west, head north and turn towards the eastern wall. Climb up the washed-out white runic words on the wall, then proceed left to the next area. Continue following the linear path south until you lift and go under a large stone pillar. The chest will be on your right.

This chest requires the Draupnir Spear, unlocked during the main mission "Forging Destiny." You must throw your spear at three runes and have them explode simultaneously.

• Rune 1 (n): Head past the chest towards the large gap (do not jump over). Turn 180°. The "n" rune is to the right of the left tree.
• Rune 2 (N): Same as above, but the "N" rune is to the right of the right tree.
• Rune 3 (F): Head towards the gap again and turn your camera to the right. The "F" rune is on a distant ledge to your west.

Note: The area for the second Nornir Chest may contain a Remnants of Asgard encounter after completing the main story.
