Speak to Eltoora inside the Cloaktower Guild, located next to the big tree where you acquired the Great Tree quest. Tell her you wish to join the Guild to start this quest. She will give you Eltoora's Key.

In the Peninsula District, find the house in the north-east corner (to the right of Ms. Dulcimae, with a sundial in front). Use Eltoora's Key to enter. Defeat the Earth Mephit inside (use spells as it's tough in melee). Search the pile of stones to find the Rare Earth Clay. Keep this item.

In the Blacklake District, enter the Wizard Lab (marked on the map). Defeat the Air Mephit. Search the Alchemist's Apparatus to find the Puff of Fog. Keep this item.

In the Beggar's Nest, enter the Wizard Lab in the north-east corner (marked on the map). Defeat the Fire Mephit. Search the wood pile to find the Kindling Wood. Keep this item.

In the Docks District, enter the Wizard Lab in the north-east part of the map (marked on the map). Defeat the Water Mephit. Search the diving pool to find the Flask of Water. Keep this item.

Return to the Cloaktower and speak to Eltoora. She will take your collected items and send you to your final test. You will receive 300 XP.

Step through the portal behind Eltoora into a small room. Do not attack the Minogon. Collect the Elemental Wand of Earth from the pile of stones, the Elemental Wand of Air from the Alchemist's Apparatus, the Elemental Wand of Water from the diving pool, and the Elemental Wand of Fire from the wood pile.

Use the elemental wands on the Minogon in the following order: Earth, Water, Air, Fire.

Return to Eltoora to complete the quest. You will be rewarded with 300 XP and the Many-Starred Cloak.

Tips

The Earth Mephit is particularly dangerous in melee; prioritize using spells against it.
Do not discard any of the collected quest items (Rare Earth Clay, Puff of Fog, Kindling Wood, Flask of Water) or Eltoora's Key, as they are needed throughout the quest.
The Many-Starred Cloak offers good bonuses and should be equipped immediately if beneficial.
