Learn how to manage your party in Neverwinter! This guide explains the Party Bar, adding members, and understanding character portraits and status icons.

Alright, so you've probably noticed this little bar at the bottom of your screen, right? That's the Party Bar, and it's super important for keeping track of who's with you, whether you're adventuring solo or with a whole crew in multiplayer. Think of it as your command center for your companions!

In singleplayer, you'll see any summoned creatures you've got hanging around appear here. For multiplayer, this is where all your buddies show up. Want to bring someone new into the fold? Easy peasy. Just open up the 'Socialize' Radial Menu – you know, the one you get when you right-click on a player's portrait. From there, select 'Invite'. The player you invite then just needs to go back to their 'Socialize' menu and pick 'Join Party'. Boom, you're a squad!

The Party Bar gives you a quick rundown on everyone. Each character has a portrait, and right below it, you'll see a small bar showing their current health. Keep an eye on that, especially when things get hairy!

Over on the right side of each portrait, there are a couple of key icons. First up, there's an arrow. This little guy points you in the direction of that party member relative to where you are. Super handy if you get separated in a big fight or a confusing dungeon. Then, you've got an icon that shows what action your companion is currently performing – like if they're in combat, casting a spell, or taking a breather to rest. And if you see a skull icon pop up? Yeah, that means they've unfortunately met their end and are down for the count. Just something to be aware of as you're strategizing your next move!
