Hey there! So, you're curious about those special Mystery Gifts in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Let's Go Eevee? Right now, there aren't a ton of them, but the good news is that this could totally change in the future. Keep an eye out!

Every so often, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company drop some cool freebies into the game. To see if there's anything new, you can check the official Pokemon websites or the news feed on your Nintendo Switch. If you find a gift, here's how to snag it: head to the main menu, select "Communicate," and then choose "Mystery Gift" from the left-hand side.

Quick Heads-Up: Requirements

• You absolutely need to be connected to the internet to grab these gifts.
• Make sure your Nintendo Switch has the latest system update installed.
• Don't worry, you don't need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription for this!

Once you're in the Mystery Gift menu and everything's set up, you'll see a few options:

• Get via Internet: Pick this one to search for any gifts that are available to everyone online.
• Get with code/password: If you've got a special serial code or a password that's been shared, this is where you'll type it in to get your reward.
• Get with a Poké Ball Plus: Use this option if you want to receive a bonus Mew from your Poké Ball Plus accessory. Just a heads-up, you can only do this once per Poké Ball Plus.
• Check Mystery Gifts: This lets you look back at all the Mystery Gifts you've already received.

Pro Tip: Gift Received!

Once you successfully grab a Mystery Gift, it'll show up right where it belongs. If it's a Pokémon, it'll go straight into your Pokémon Box. If it's an item, you'll find it in your Bag. Your game will also save automatically after you get your gift, so you don't have to worry about losing it!
