Navigate the spooky Pokémon Tower in Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee! Find items, battle your rival, and face Coach Trainer Holly on your way to Lavender Town.

Alright, let's head into the Pokémon Tower! It's a bit eerie, but we've got some important stuff to grab and people to battle on our way through. Stick with me, and we'll get through it in no time.

Pokémon Trainer Rival Battle

Here's what your rival is bringing to the fight:

Your rival usually starts with his Pidgeotto. Honestly, Electric and Rock-types are your best bet here. Your partner Pikachu or Eevee with Buzzy Buzz would be perfect!

Next up is Gloom. It's an evolved Oddish and a bit tougher, but its typing is the same. If you've got a Fire, Flying, or Psychic-type Pokémon, now's the time to send them out.

For the final Pokémon, your rival has evolved his partner! If you're playing Let's Go Pikachu, you'll face Jolteon, a super-fast Electric-type. Ground-types are great against it, or anything that resists Electric attacks, like Grass-types. If you're playing Let's Go Eevee, you'll battle Raichu, which is also Electric-type. The same advice applies, but if you're feeling bold, your own partner Eevee, especially with Headbutt, can handle it.

1. After the Rival Battle: Once you've defeated your rival, head west from where you were standing. You'll find an X Attack nearby – grab it! Then, make your way south towards the stairs leading to the next floor. Before you head up, there's a Coach Trainer you might want to battle.

Coach Trainer Holly Battle

Holly's got one Pokémon:

Don't underestimate Holly! Even though her Geodude is slow, it's surprisingly fast and can use Rock Slide to make your Pokémon flinch. Fighting or Ground-types are your best bet, but if your Water or Grass-types are strong enough to take a few hits, they can work too.

If you manage to beat Holly, she'll reward you with 5 Partner Candies. These are great for boosting your Pokémon's stats, so don't hesitate to use them! After that, head up the stairs to the third floor.

1. Floor 3F: The moment you step onto the third floor, you'll encounter a ghost! Don't worry, Cubone will show up, chase it off, and then leave the tower itself. You can try to explore the rest of the tower, but you'll find these unidentifiable ghosts everywhere from now on.

2. Leaving the Tower: For now, it's best to head back the way you came and exit the tower. Once you're outside, make your way towards the west exit of Lavender Town. You'll find the Team Rocket duo there. They'll snatch Cubone and run off. Your next step is to follow them west, towards Celadon City!
