Your guide to Route 7 in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu and Eevee! Learn about wild Pokemon, battle trainers like Ace Trainer Yvette and Coach Trainer Alpesh, and find items.
Alright, so you've made it to Route 7! This one's super short, basically just the entryway to Celadon City. As soon as you pop out of the Underground Path, you'll want to head east. Keep an eye out, because there's an Ace Trainer hanging around, and just to her north-east, you can snag an Elixir. Good stuff!
Watch out for Ace Trainer Yvette!
Yvette's got a pretty solid team. She's rocking a Level 28 Raichu, a Level 29 Dugtrio, and a Level 28 Seel. Remember, Ground-types like Dugtrio are your best bet against Raichu. For Dugtrio itself, Grass or Water moves will do the trick. Just be careful with its Sucker Punch – it's a priority move, so it'll hit you first if you try to attack. And for Seel, Electric-type moves are your go-to, especially since it has Aqua Jet and Ice Shard, which are also priority moves.
After you've dealt with Yvette, keep heading north. You'll see a gatehouse on your right, but you can't use it just yet – don't worry, that'll come later. If you head north-east from here, you'll find some tall grass. But if you're aiming for Celadon City, you'll want to go north-west. Before you get there though, there's another trainer to battle: Coach Trainer Alpesh.
Coach Trainer Alpesh is up next!
Alpesh has a Level 29 Farfetch'd and a Level 30 Wigglytuff. Farfetch'd, being a Normal/Flying type, is weak to Rock and Electric attacks. Wigglytuff, which evolved from Jigglypuff, is a bit tougher but still vulnerable to Poison and Steel moves. Both of them can use Facade, a move that hits twice as hard if they have a status condition, so be mindful of that!
Beat Alpesh and he'll give you **TM12 Facade**. Yep, the very move we just talked about!
