Explore Humilau City in pokemon black white 2, the location of Gym 8 and the Pokemon League. Find items and learn Move Tutor moves.

After exiting the tube, head north and speak with Hugh. Then, go west down to the beach to find the Pokemon Center for healing and item stocking. Exit the Pokemon Center and return towards the Marine Tube entrance, then head north. The large glass building is the Humilau City Gym, but you cannot challenge Marlon yet. Continue east, then north along the path, and cross the bridge. Enter the first house you see.

A man will emerge from the water and tell you to come to the Gym; this is Marlon. If you wish, you can proceed directly to the Humilau City Gym section. Otherwise, continue exploring by entering the house. Inside, a bald man is the third Move Tutor, offering the following moves for Yellow Shards:

  • 2 Yellow Shards: Bind, Snore
  • 4 Yellow Shards: Heal Bell, Knock Off
  • 6 Yellow Shards: Synthesis, Roost
  • 8 Yellow Shards: Sky Attack, Role Play
  • 10 Yellow Shards: Heat Wave, Giga Drain, Drain Punch, Pain Split, Tail Wind

After visiting the Move Tutor, exit the house. Head west down the walkway ramp into the shallows. Use Surf on the water to the south, then land on the beach to the south and follow it west. Go up the stairs to find a Shell Bell behind the Gym. Surf back to the shallows.

Continue west and go up the ramp. Follow the walkway west and speak to the bald man. Return and enter the house to the east. Check the bin on the east side of the house to find a Full Restore. The bald man will trade a Mantine for a Tangrowth if you wish.

Leave the house and go down the ramp into the shallows to your east. Move under the walkway to the north. Turn on your Dowsing MCHN and find a Heart Scale on the same tile as a walkway pillar. Continue north-east under another walkway. To your east, near the edge of the shallows, grab an item to find another Heart Scale. Return under the last walkway and head west under the one there. Move up onto the walkway.

Follow the walkway north-east to find a Protein at the end. Head south-west back to the ramp. You can head west onto the sand to reach Route 22, which can be explored for extra experience. Alternatively, from the Pokemon Center, use Surf to go south to Route 21, which leads to the back entrance of Seaside Cave. You can also Fly to Undella Town and enter Seaside Cave from Undella Bay. These routes and the cave will be required later, but you can explore them now if you wish to train before challenging Marlon.
