Gym Leader Battle - Drayden:
- Drayden's Pokémon: Druddigon (Lv. 46, Dragon), Flygon (Lv. 46, Ground/Dragon), Haxorus (Lv. 48, Dragon)
Strategy for Drayden:
- General: Drayden's Pokémon are Dragon-types. Ice- and Steel-types are super-effective but can take super-effective damage from Fighting-, Rock-, and Ground-type moves. Avoid using your own Dragon-types unless confident, as they are also weak to Dragon-type moves. Drayden's Pokémon can use Dragon Tail, which switches your active Pokémon.
- Druddigon: Use a neutral type or an Ice/Steel-type if you can withstand its Revenge move. Try to force Drayden to use a Hyper Potion on it.
- Flygon: This is a difficult opponent due to its Earth Power and Rock Slide moves. Grass-types are the best option. Use weaker Pokémon as fodder if needed to heal stronger ones. Status ailments and Battle Items are crucial. Consider returning later if you struggle.
- Haxorus: Defeat it quickly before it can use Dragon Dance multiple times. Ice- and Steel-type moves are safe here. Be aware of its Sitrus Berry, which heals it when its HP is low. Putting it to sleep can prevent Dragon Dance.
- Items: Hyper Potions and Revives are recommended for difficult battles.
- Upon defeating Drayden, you receive the Legend Badge.
- All traded Pokémon up to Level 80 will now obey you.
- You receive TM82 - Dragon Tail.
