Head east into the Tall Grass and battle the School Kid in a Rotation Battle.

Rotation Battle: School Kid

• Skiploon (Level 61, Grass/Flying)

Grab the nearby Quick Ball. Head onto the bridge and use Surf on the water north of it. Surf north, then north-west to find a Fisherman.

Trainer Battle: Fisherman

This is described as the most difficult battle in the game. After winning, move up the steps. In the north-east corner is a Full Restore, and in the north-west is some Calcium. Head back down the stairs, move west, and check the gap in the Tall Grass for a hidden Ultra Ball.

Surf back to the bridge and move to the eastern bank. Go through the Tall Grass leading south at the end of the bridge. Head around to another Fisherman and battle him.

Trainer Battle: Fisherman

• Slowpoke (Level 61, Water/Psychic)
• Goldeen (Level 61, Water)
• Seaking (Level 61, Water)

Grab the Zinc near this Fisherman. Head back to the main dirt path and continue east. Enter the Dark Grass and battle the School Kid in a Triple Battle.

Triple Battle: School Kid

• Natu (Level 61, Psychic/Flying)
• Xatu (Level 61, Psychic/Flying)
• Fearow (Level 61, Normal/Flying)

Collect the Big Nugget in the Dark Grass. Return to the main path and head north until you meet two Backers for a Double Battle.

Double Battle: Backers

• Emolga (Level 62, Electric/Flying)
• Pachirisu (Level 62, Electric)

Continue north from the Backers. At the T-intersection, enter the Tall Grass for an Ultra Ball. Go back to the intersection and take the path east. Follow it until it ends, then continue north towards Wellspring Cave. You need a Pokemon that can use Flash to explore the cave.

East from the cave entrance, move through the Tall Grass to reach the Lass.

Trainer Battle: Lass

• Vulpix (Level 62, Fire)
• Flareon (Level 62, Fire)

In the small clearing just before the ledge to your south, use your Dowsing MCHN to find a hidden Nugget. Jump down the ledge and continue east to the T-junction. Take the eastern path. The Twins before the steps will not battle you.

Go up the steps and head west. Enter the red-roofed building, a children's day care center. Talk to the woman near the entrance to heal your Pokemon. Find an item in the north-east corner: a Rare Candy.

Head back outside. Battle the woman south-west of the day care.

Trainer Battle: Nursery Aide

West of the Nursery Aide are three Preschoolers. Battle the one standing still.
