Pokemon League

Upon entering the Elite Four area, you will find four sets of stairs, each leading to a different Elite Four member's building. You can challenge them in any order. This walkthrough lists them from left to right.

The first trainer is Elite Four Shauntal, a Ghost-type specialist.

Drifblim (Level 56, Ghost/Flying)

Golurk (Level 56, Ground/Ghost)

Chandelure (Level 58, Ghost/Fire)

Recommended types against Shauntal: Dark-types are highly recommended. Normal-types with strong moves against Ghost-types can be useful. Water-types are effective against Golurk but vulnerable to other members. Steel-types are vulnerable to most of Shauntal's Pokemon except Drifblim.

Against Cofagrigus: Use a Pokemon that is neutral or strong against Ghost-types. Be wary of its Shadow Ball attack.

Against Drifblim: Use Dark- or Electric-type Pokemon. Dark-types resist Psychic and Ghost moves. Electric-types are super effective against Flying-types and resist Acrobatics and Thunderbolt. Watch out for Shadow Ball and Acrobatics.

Against Golurk: Water-types or Flying-types are recommended. Flying-types are immune to Earthquake. Be aware of Golurk's Heavy Slam (damage based on weight) and its powerful Earthquake attack.

Against Chandelure: Use Dark-types if you haven't already. Fire-types with strong moves against Ghost/Fire-types can also work. Be extremely cautious of Chandelure's Fire Blast (180 base damage with STAB) and Shadow Ball.

Strategy for Chandelure's Fire Blast: If Fire Blast is too difficult, you can strategically use Revive items. Let a Pokemon faint from Fire Blast, then use a Revive. Field the revived Pokemon and use your turn to Revive the fainted one. Repeat this process until Chandelure has used all five Fire Blasts. Then, use a Dark- or Normal-type with strong moves against Ghost/Fire-types to finish it off. Alternatively, use Pokemon that Fire-type moves are strong against to bait Chandelure into using Fire Blast.

After defeating all four Elite Four members, you will face the Champion.
