Walkthrough
- 1Return to where the Hiker was blocking the road. He will now challenge you to a battle.
- 2Defeat the Hiker's Level 11 Fighting-type Riolu.
- 3After defeating the Hiker, proceed south down the steps. You will encounter a Preschooler. You can battle him or run past if you wish.
- 4If you battle, defeat the Preschooler's Level 10 Water-type Psyduck.
- 5After the battle, Cheren and Hugh will appear. Cheren will explain how Dark Grass works and gives you 3 Pecha Berries.
- 6South of where Hugh is standing in the dark grass, pick up a Great Ball.
- 7Continue up the stairs to your northeast. You will be stopped by a second Preschooler.
- 8Defeat the second Preschooler's Level 10 Water-type Lillipup.
- 9After the first set of steps, go right into the grass to find an Antidote.
- 10Continue up the steps on this side or go back to the steps facing west to challenge another trainer.
- 11Defeat the Nursery Aide's Level 11 Normal-type Dunsparce.
- 12Ascend the steps to your right. Grab the item to your north to find a Dire Hit.
- 13Head up the last set of steps and turn right to initiate a Double Battle with the Twins.
- 14Defeat the Twins' two Level 9 Grass-type Sunkern.
- 15Continue through the gate past the Twins. The gate attendant will give you two Great Balls.
- 16Continue into Virbank City.

- You can hang around the dark grass to catch Pokemon and train.
