Route 8

Navigate Route 8 in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2! Discover trainer battles, hidden items, and the path to Icirrus City and the Moor of Icirrus.

Alright, let's tackle Route 8 in Pokémon Black 2 and White 2! This route can be a bit tricky depending on the season, but don't worry, we'll get through it. Remember, you can always use Surf to get around any ice if it's Winter.

First up, you'll encounter a Parasol Lady who wants to battle. She's got three Castform at level 60. After you defeat her, head north-west to the next puddle. From there, if you go west, then south, and then south-east under the bridge, you'll find yourself in Icirrus City. You can head there now if you want, but we're going to explore the rest of Route 8 first.

Back at the puddle, head north-east. You'll be stopped by a Lass who wants to battle. She'll send out a team of three: a level 60 Shelmet (Bug), a level 60 Slugma (Fire), and a level 60 Gastrodon (Water/Ground).

Just north of the Lass, you'll find a Fisherman who's also ready for a fight. He's got a trio of Pokémon: a level 60 Barboach (Water/Ground), a level 60 Stunfisk (Ground/Electric), and a level 60 Whiscash (Water/Ground).

Now, turn on your Dowsing MCHN and head east. Keep an eye out for a Max Repel. Continue east until you run into another Parasol Lady. This time, she's challenging you to a Triple Battle! Her team consists of a level 60 Castform (Normal), a level 60 Jolteon (Electric), and a level 60 Ludicolo (Water/Ground).

To the north-east of this Parasol Lady is the entrance to the Moor of Icirrus. Feel free to explore it if you like. Once you're done, head back out and we'll continue exploring Route 8. Go back west to where you fought the Fisherman.

From the Fisherman's spot, head west around the body of water. Keep going until you see a Youngster walking back and forth. He's the final trainer on this route, so get ready! He's got a level 60 Palpitoad (Water/Ground), a level 60 Vaporeon (Water), and a level 60 Croagunk (Poison/Fighting).

After you defeat the Youngster, grab the TM36 - Sludge Bomb located to his north. Now, head back to the Youngster. From there, go north-east, heading between the water and the trees. At the end of this path, you'll find a Nest Ball.

One last backtrack to the Youngster! This time, turn on your Dowsing MCHN and head south. You should find a Rare Candy. Now, head east, following the path south under the bridge when it curves that way. Congratulations, you've reached Icirrus City!
