    Defeat the Monty Mole at the end of the initial path.

    Jump up the stairs and run left, stomping the four Monty Moles that ambush you.

World 5-5 Walkthrough:

  1. Defeat the Giant Tanooki Goomba.
  2. Hit the left ? Block for a coin and the right ? Block for a Propeller Box.
  3. Jump into the Propeller Box and hop onto the cloud platform to your left.
  4. Propel yourself onto the small grassy platform to your north-east.
  5. Jump down to the cloud platform to your right and propel yourself into the air to collect coins.
  6. Move back to the grass platform on your left, then onto the cloud platform north of you.
  7. Jump onto the next grass platform to your right and stomp all Biddybuds without touching the ground for a 1-Up. Use the Propeller Box's hover feature to aim.
  8. If you need another Propeller Box, jump to the small grass platform on your right; the left ? Block contains one, the right contains a coin.
  9. Move back and north onto the next cloud platform, which will take you up.
  10. Jump to the grass platform to your north-west.
  11. Stomp the stack of ten Goombas without touching the ground to gain six 1-Ups.
  12. Jump to the platform on your left.
  13. Hit the right ? Block multiple times for coins, the left one for a coin, and the middle one for another Propeller Box.
  14. Move back to the main platform and hop onto the raised platform.
  15. Propel yourself into the air to collect coins and hover over to the large rubber platform to your north.
  16. You will be shot into the air; move onto the platform you land on and defeat the Giant Tanooki Goomba.
  17. Jump over to the left platform and hit the ? Blocks: the right contains a Propeller Box, the large one contains three coins, and the left one contains coins.
  18. Collect Star Coin #1: A trail of coins leads down the gap between the main and left platforms, with the Star Coin at the end. Jump down, collect the coins, and immediately propel yourself up and back onto the main platform using a Propeller Box.
  19. Jump up onto the ridge on the main platform.
  20. Propel yourself into the air and float over to the first cloud platform (moving left and right).
  21. Propel yourself forward to the next cloud platform.
  22. Let the cloud platform move to the far right, stand in the center under the line of coins, and propel yourself up to collect them.
  23. Hover north to the main platform.
  24. Kick the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag.
  25. Jump to the platform on your right.
  26. Look through the Binoculars to see the location of the second Star Coin and aim. Look up and left to see the main platform and the Star Coin. Look above this platform to a smaller one, zoom in to find a Toad in a Propeller Box. Zoom out and follow him.
