Part 61

From the platform, crawl into the hole on the south side of the sand-colored blocks to the right of the Green Clock for extra coins.

Crawl back out, grab the Green Clock, and enter the Cannon. Aim at the upper half of the yellow ring and fire.

On the new platform, hit the P-Switch to your right. Collect the trail of rainbow notes for a 1-Up.

Hit the other P-Switch to the left of the first one and collect the trail of coins.

Hit the ? Block on the left side of the platform multiple times for extra coins, watching out for Cheep-Cheeps.

Hit the ? Block on the north-eastern side of the platform, again watching for Cheep-Cheeps. You will get stuck in the ? Block and keep receiving coins as you move around until you take damage.

Star Coin Alert! #3: Jump inside the Cannon on the north-western side of the platform. Aim above the fireball platform to your right. Fire and land on the platform to grab the final Star Coin. Enter the Warp Box to warp back to the Cheep-Cheep platform or hover down to the Goal Pole platform if you don't want an extra 1-Up (requires Tanooki Mario).

Re-enter the Cannon on the Cheep-Cheep platform and aim at the middle of the three 1-Ups. Fire to grab the 1-Up.

Move to the left side of the platform you landed on and hit the P-Switch.

Follow the trail of coins to the Goal Pole. Get a sufficient run-up before jumping at the Goal Pole to grab the top and collect your 1-Up!

Special 1-4: Move right and jump onto the far right rock with the shadow of a Star Coin on it. Jump up and grab the Star Coin. Drop back down and continue across the bridge.

Hit the ? Block for a coin and continue. Jump over the boomerangs thrown by the two Boomerang Bros. and stomp them. Be aware of returning boomerangs.

Jump off the edge of the bridge and onto the tightrope.

Collect the coins, being careful not to jump into the Paragoomba above. Jump through the red ring and move along the tightrope, stomping the three Paragoombas. Dodge the boomerang from the Boomerang Bro. near the final red coin and collect the 1-Up (or Statue Leaf if Small/Normal Mario). Jump off the tightrope and stomp him.

Star Coin Alert! #2: Near the tightrope you just got off, wall jump off the wall behind the Star Coin's shadow to grab it.

Jump onto the next tightrope. Stay on the left edge and wait for three Paragoombas to fly over. Perform a large jump (Press 'A' when landing on the tightrope) and stomp the top Paragoomba, then the other two.

Hit the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag and drop down the steps to your right. Walk through the white flower at the bottom to spawn a Super Mushroom. Grab it and jump back up the steps. Hit the Warp Box to warp across the chasm.

Do not hit the first ? Block (it contains a Poison Mushroom). Hit the others and brick blocks for coins.

Walk into the waterfall for a 1-Up. Walk back out and jump onto the tightrope.

Star Coin Alert! #3: Wait for the Paragoomba in the gap between the two bottom tightropes to fly to its highest point. Perform a large jump on the tightrope (Press 'A' as you land) and stomp the Paragoomba. Press 'A' as you stomp for extra height and jump onto the tightrope above. Walk to the end, jump off, grab the Star Coin, and fall to the platform below.

Run right, across the bridge. Deal with the Boomerang Bro. Be aware of returning boomerangs.

Jump across the gap and deal with the next Boomerang Bro. Follow the path until you reach the final Boomerang Bro. on the grassy bridge. Sit below his platform and wait for him to throw two boomerangs. As they return, jump up, wait for him to jump, then stomp him as he throws a boomerang. Dodge the returning boomerang and move to the end of the platform. Take a running start...
