Part 36

From the right-most brick block, jump onto the first Thwomp after it slams down. Wait for it to move up, then quickly run to the right edge and jump onto the next Thwomp. Collect the Star Coin, wait for the Thwomp to move up, and just before it slams, jump to the next one to collect coins. Drop down to the other side.

Stomp the Draglet, dodging its fireballs. Move to the right edge of the platform and wait for the southernmost chain platform to become level with your current platform. Jump onto it and grab the Star Coin. Ride this platform north.

Move through the red ring when it approaches. As you pass the Baddie Box, a Dry Bones will spawn; move to the left side of your platform. Stomp the Dry Bones, collect coins, and jump onto the next platform when close enough. Collect the last two red coins and the 1-Up that appears.

Jump over the gap, avoiding the alternating Podoboos. Jump after the first one falls. Hit the Checkpoint (an auto-save point you restart from on death) Flag.

Look through the Binoculars to see two Toads in the castle. Stop looking and move left. Jump onto the platform that appears from the lava. Move next to the first Thwomp and let it slam the ground. Run underneath it when it moves up, stopping before the next Thwomp and moving right to correct your position. When the next Thwomp moves up after slamming, move left. You can wall jump off the right side of the left Thwomp onto the right one for coins, but it is not essential.

At the end of the line of platforms, move to the left side. Let the platform sink into the lava, then jump up to grab the third Star Coin. Jump directly onto the platform to your north.

Jump over the gap, stomp the Draglet, and move north to the Hammer Bro. Dodge the first hammer, then run up and stomp him before he throws the second. Jump onto the platform that drops to your north. Jump to the next platform north when possible. Collect the four coins and jump to the south-east platform. Hit the brick block in the middle multiple times for coins, then jump to the platform north of you. Let this platform rise, then jump onto the platform to your right, easily clearing the Podoboos.

As soon as you land, Bowser appears. On the platforms moving south, the right of the bottom two brick blocks contains a 1-Up. The northern-most block on the left contains a single coin.

Run north along the platforms, jumping gaps and changing sides to avoid Bowser's fireballs. If forced to move on the side Bowser is attacking, be aware but there is enough room to avoid damage. Reach the end and jump onto the platform to your left.

Follow the path around until running north. Bowser has a Tanooki Tail. Wait for Bowser to move if he is in your way, then time your jump over the gap for just after the Podoboo you are jumping over begins to fall.

Pillars Bowser breaks will drop a coin. Continue right, being cautious of Bowser. You may need to jump over a small gap on the south side to reach the wooden bridge. Wait for Bowser to jump, then run underneath him while he hovers. Be patient.

On the wooden bridge, run across and jump to the north platform. If Bowser jumps onto your platform, move to the left side, wait for him to land, then run past him along the south edge, jumping to the next platform. Watch out for Bowser's tail.
